This restaurant does a fantastic job with everything from wine selections to service to food. This is the place to go for steaks. I am sure the other options are very good also, but I always get a steak when eating at 1776. Normally I get a filet which never disappoints but last night I tried their Prime Rib. I order the Queen cut and it was huge. Very tender and tasty. Now I have a tough choice the next time; do I want the filet or the Prime rib. I highly recommend either one. Our server, Jodi, was excellent. Excellent personality and great service. She was extremely familiar with the menu and always approached the table with a big smile. Every time that we have been there, the owner touches the table to ensure that everything is to our liking. A great place, but reservations are always recommended.

We were there for our anniversary. Being a special day, 1776 did not disappoint. From the appetizer to the dessert everything was spot on. Slight disappointment they the coconut cake is no longer on the menu. However, the banana cream pie and creme brullee were excellent substitutes.

Tough to have a bad experience at 1776. Tom and Lisa are the best. Our serve this visit was "Alex", he is awesome.

Very loud atmosphere…. Service was good…. The food was not even OK. I could not eat my steak it was tough, bland and pale, had no grill marks what so ever. The baked potato was OK but how can you screw that up! Totally over priced and if you used to good quality food don’t bother wasting your money, if you are OK with diner food you will think this is good!

The best thing about this restaurant is the consistency. We frequent for dinner and are never disappointed. The New York strip was so tender and every bite was full of flavor. The thick filet was cooked medium rare to perfection. The chefs at this restaurant are truly skilled. Sides compliment the beef and are prepared well.
