The best view in northeast Ohio 17 River Grille offers classic American Grille food; simple preparations of Steaks, Seafood, Salads, & Handcrafted cocktails.

Dining With Us:
Our restaurants are upscale-casual dining destinations, designed for intimate gatherings for parties of 2 to 4. In order to seat your party comfortably, we have very limited seating accommodations for parties of 6 to 8 guests. Parties over 6 will be sat when they have completely arrived. Walk-ins are welcome for parties 8 or less. Patio space is not available for reservations.
We request that our guests dress tastefully, in business casual or semi-formal attire. Parties arriving more than 15 minutes late may be moved to the wait list

    We showed up on time for our reservation but were told we couldn’t be seated yet, even though we had a reservation. When I asked how long it would be I was rudely told “we don’t quote times” but it should be around 15 minutes. 25 minutes later we still hadn’t been seated even though there were several empty tables and people who arrived after us got seated. I asked again and we got seated at a table that was empty the entire time we waited. The food was pretty mediocre and overpriced for what it was. I asked for rare steak and it was medium, and my wife got sick from the walleye.

    Our server was absolutely wonderful. We were celebrating a friends birthday and her service delivery was perfection. I wish I caught her name. We did not feel rushed and able to enjoy the wonderful company and ambiance of the restaurant.

    Super worth it overall enjoyable. Went for brunch; the Bloody Mary was awesome and reasonably priced; menu didn’t match the total cost for it. But only $1 difference. The food was awesome! Sat on downstairs patio, great view of the falls with enjoyable cocktails 🍸! Eggs benny was totally worth it, you get a steak and eggs with 2 delicious sides. 17 burger was also massive with coleslaw and fries on the side. The fries seemed to be a little undercooked. Maybe since it was the first batch; but the burger cooked perfect. $104 for 2 entrees, 4 cocktails and a deviled egg app.

    Great service and food. Sat us next to the window by the water because there were no tables outside available. It was very nice.

    My wife and I love 17 River Grille. From the food to the service to the ambiance to the view, everything is top notch. Highly recommend this place!

    Easily becoming one of my favorite restaurants. Got the fish special which was halibut and was cooked perfectly. My husband got the lemon parm chicken which was also delicious.
