The best view in northeast Ohio 17 River Grille offers classic American Grille food; simple preparations of Steaks, Seafood, Salads, & Handcrafted cocktails.

Dining With Us:
Our restaurants are upscale-casual dining destinations, designed for intimate gatherings for parties of 2 to 4. In order to seat your party comfortably, we have very limited seating accommodations for parties of 6 to 8 guests. Parties over 6 will be sat when they have completely arrived. Walk-ins are welcome for parties 8 or less. Patio space is not available for reservations.
We request that our guests dress tastefully, in business casual or semi-formal attire. Parties arriving more than 10 minutes late will be moved to the wait list

Food, service and ambiance was great! Always enjoy dining out at 17 River Grille. Chicken Pot Pie was exactly what I didn’t know I wanted…delicious!

Imani was very attentive and cordial . Food was very good . Had to wait for about 10 mins for an 8 pm reservation which seemed a bit strange . It was a birthday and the hostess at check in acknowledged it .

The wonderful overall experience was tarnished when we ordered decaf coffee but apparently got caffeinated coffee as we both were unable to sleep until about 4AM

We brought a friend who had never been to 17 River Grille and he loved the food and the great service. Our waitress, Jory, was terrific! Thanks for such great experiences, each time we come here to dine.

We come every Sunday for Sunday brunch! We sit outside in the patio and we will bring our two Wheaton terrier dogs again and Reilly! Today the manager stopped by and gave the dogs some treats! It is my happy place, food is always delicious, servers are always so friendly!

The food was outstanding! The view of the water was phenomenal! Zane our waiter was awesome, efficient and personable!!! The restaurant deserves more than 5 stars!!!

Venue, service, and ambiance was great. Food and details brought this down for me. Water and wine glasses were brought to us just washed dripping wet with lipstick stains on them. Meals were bland and mashed potatoes were cold. Overall good but not memorable.

Made reservation 1month ago- requested a table for 2 by the windows with a view of the Chagrin Falls waterfalls. Got seated in the main dining area against the wall with no view of the River. Our server, Dan, was excellent. Husband enjoyed the Grouper special. I had a perfectly prepared tender strip steak. Bar was very busy. Nice place for celebrations. Pricey.
