The best view in northeast Ohio 17 River Grille offers classic American Grille food; simple preparations of Steaks, Seafood, Salads, & Handcrafted cocktails.

Dining With Us:
Our restaurants are upscale-casual dining destinations, designed for intimate gatherings for parties of 2 to 4. In order to seat your party comfortably, we have very limited seating accommodations for parties of 6 to 8 guests. Parties over 6 will be sat when they have completely arrived. Walk-ins are welcome for parties 8 or less. Patio space is not available for reservations.
We request that our guests dress tastefully, in business casual or semi-formal attire. Parties arriving more than 10 minutes late will be moved to the wait list

It was a very nice dinner, very relaxing and very enjoyable. The young gentleman who waited on us was fantastic. The view of the falls was very nice from the table that we were given. The only minor concern I have is with parking. On the day we arrived for dinner which was at 5:00 p.m., the town was very crowded and parking would have been a problem. But we were able to use valet parking which is right next to the restaurant . If you eat at the 17 River Grill restaurant The valet parking cost is only $5 but if you do not eat at the restaurant the cost would be $15. When we entered the restaurant they were very nice and quickly seated us. I wore a jacket without a tie but all other people were dressed in casual clothes or what I would describe as business casual. Dinner for two with appetizers , cocktails and wine was 161 but there were other items on the menu that were less expensive . I also added a 20% tip on top of this amount because the service was very good.

Food was average, but atmosphere was excellent. Our server was very attentive. Nice restaurant to have dinner with friends and family. Will come again, but mostly for the beautiful setting.

Took my sister and brother in law there for an anniversary dinner. It was a great experience from the welcome at the door to be seated at a window table looking over the falls as requested. Our server was great and knowledgeable and attentive. Food was very good with a nice selection.

Outstanding service and wonderful food. Our server recommended the kale salad side which was amazing!! You won’t be disappointed with any choice on the menu and the atmosphere is the best in Chagrin !!

I had the halibu- my wife had the salmon-both were great-also, our server, Griffin, answered all our questions and otherwise did a nice job

The place is much better than the food. The view is amazing, although we had to beg the hostess for a river view table. She had an attitude. Our server was professional and amicable. They were out of several dishes, among them our favorites. The lobster bisque, as always, very good. Value is all right. I prefer the place for dinner.

My Wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. We had a table over looking the falls. Service was excellent with Skylar. Our meals of Steak and Frites and the Prime New York strip were prepared exceptionally with equal presentation and portion size. Our dinner was topped off with a delicious dessert. Parking can be tough to find.
