The best view in northeast Ohio 17 River Grille offers classic American Grille food; simple preparations of Steaks, Seafood, Salads, & Handcrafted cocktails.

Dining With Us:
Our restaurants are upscale-casual dining destinations, designed for intimate gatherings for parties of 2 to 4. In order to seat your party comfortably, we have very limited seating accommodations for parties of 6 to 8 guests. Parties over 6 will be sat when they have completely arrived. Walk-ins are welcome for parties 8 or less. Patio space is not available for reservations.
We request that our guests dress tastefully, in business casual or semi-formal attire. Parties arriving more than 10 minutes late will be moved to the wait list

    This was our second visit. The food is on point. The heavenly rolls are a must! Service was great. Highly recommend this restaurant for either a drink at the bar or dinner.

    We were visiting from out of town ordered the steak frite it was bland, the bernaise looked like yellow jelly disgusting! I wanted to send it back but didn’t feel like waiting for another meal. Service was slow ambience was the only thing going for this place. Not a good meal at all.

    Great experience as always. Food and service were great, reseration was on time and we had a view of falls. Glad we came!

    This was my first time there, and we were celebrating a friends birthday. We sat by the window and there were ants crawling on the table, as well as flies all on the window in the inside, and we asked to change our table. Because we had already ordered our food, the general manager said that we could not change our table. It was very uncomfortable eating at that location. We were set at and we inquired twice as to why we could not change a table and was told us because we had already ordered our food, which makes no sense to me as we died at top restaurants Throughout the cities and have never had that kind of issue. He was very cold talking, never offered if there was anything LC could do to accommodate or make things right at all. Not sure if it was because we are people of color because I noticed him talking to other patrons and he seemed more pleasant with them. We were very dissatisfied and frustrated that we had to sit at a table, crawling with ants and flies Buzzing around. The food was OK but the service and the hospitality was not up to par or what we have experienced that other top Upscale restaurants.

    I was disappointed with my salad entree. Greens were limp and skimpy. Mustard dressing was very good. We were not offered a refill on our soft drinks and coffee. Exiting the dining area was difficult with having to walk through the servers pick up area. Had a great table by the Falls.

    First time here. Got our requested seating. Service was prompt and timed right so as not to rush. Wife had Trout with lobster sauce (outstanding); I had 6oz Filey that was seasoned perfectly and cooked exactly right. Both of us had delicious salads, and Creme Brûlée for dessert. Also since we both were celebrating birthdays (one day apart) they gave us a delicious hot chocolate sundae!

    We had an amazing time at 17 River Grille. Hosts and Andrew our server were very attentive. We ordered the biscuits and sushi for appetizers…delicious! A must if you go here. Dinner was excellent. Salmon a little salty but good. Palm salad, filets and short ribs were excellent. Sat outside on the patio. It was a lovely evening!
