The best view in northeast Ohio 17 River Grille offers classic American Grille food; simple preparations of Steaks, Seafood, Salads, & Handcrafted cocktails.

Dining With Us:
Our restaurants are upscale-casual dining destinations, designed for intimate gatherings for parties of 2 to 4. In order to seat your party comfortably, we have very limited seating accommodations for parties of 6 to 8 guests. Parties over 6 will be sat when they have completely arrived. Walk-ins are welcome for parties 8 or less. Patio space is not available for reservations.
We request that our guests dress tastefully, in business casual or semi-formal attire. Parties arriving more than 10 minutes late will be moved to the wait list

This gem by the Chagrin River is simply lovely. I had requested a table overlooking the falls to celebrate our wedding anniversary when I booked our reservation through Open Table. When we arrived, we were truly pleased when the staff immediately wished us happiness on the occasion and took us immediately to a table by the falls! We sat on the lower level on the outside balcony, protected from the mild wind but with plenty of fresh air and overhead heaters to keep us more than comfortable. We enjoyed superb service, loved the whole menu, and ate the hummus platter for an appetizer plus my husband's Rainbow Trout and my Thai Noodle Salad with Steak. All of it was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend 17 Grille!

Good service, very much a questionable racist atmosphere. Would not go back. Was stared at the entire night. A table full of black women couldn’t enjoy a meal in peace. Was treated very rudely by the table next to us and was bumped by one of the guest who also had nasty things to say. This is 2024.

17 River Grille never disappoints! We enjoyed a beautiful lunch there on Saturday, and I am still thinking about the biscuits! Do yourself a favor, order the biscuits to enjoy as an appetizer, or with your meal, but also order another serving to go, so that you can also enjoy the biscuits again the next day! Thank you to the hostess for the perfect table to enjoy the gorgeous view! Loved the entire experience. Thank you 17 River Grille!

Great atmosphere and vibe. The restaurant is very nice with great views. Drinks were great. Unfortunately every one of our meals were super bland and didn’t seem like there was any seasoning used whatsoever. Our server was not that attentive and we waited a long time for drinks. Overall not a great experience. I’ve been before and the food has been well seasoned, so chalking this up to an off night and will give it another go in the future.
