Fantastic dining experience to celebrate our last night in Bermuda before sailing back to NYC. Very attentive and friendly service. Started with a wonderful tuna and avocado ceviche followed by an entree of Tiger Shrimp Al Tequila. Would highly recommend the 1609 Restaurant and will definitely return if ever in Bermuda again.

Food is delicious and it has a killer view. Lunch for 4 people—2 ceviche apps, 1 wings app, 2 salads with shrimp, 2 orders tacos, 2 glasses of wine, 4 drinks and 1 non alcohol drink US$402. You are paying a premium for the view so if that’s important to you it’s worth a visit! Waiters were all friendly and efficient.

Dined here for the first time last night and had a great experience!! Great food, views, and service! Carvin was our waiter and he went above and beyond to congratulate us on our upcoming wedding by having the staff members sign a card for us. So thoughtful!! Highly recommend this place!

Unfortunately, this was our least enjoyable dining experience in Bermuda. We were celebrating my wife’s milestone birthday, and while the staff acknowledged the occasion at check-in, there was no further recognition throughout the evening. The atmosphere was overwhelming, with loud music blaring from the ceiling speakers and a noisy environment, exacerbated by unruly patrons with young children who could not stay seated. We ordered an overpriced bottle of wine, which we nearly finished before our first course finally arrived. The service was extremely slow, and the food did not meet expectations. The menu seemed more suited for a casual poolside snack, featuring options like chicken wings, flatbreads, fish, and steak. The cod I ordered was particularly disappointing—poorly prepared and not worth finishing. The dessert selection was equally underwhelming, focused on basic options such as scoops of ice cream and gummy bears. When we declined dessert, the server promptly brought the bill and left, without any effort to enhance our experience. Overall, this restaurant seems more suitable for families with children coming in from the pool, rather than those seeking a refined dining experience. It falls short in both service and quality compared to the other restaurants at the Fairmont Princess. We left feeling disappointed, especially on such a special occasion.

The food‘s OK, but the wonderful waterfront ambience is destroyed by music being played all the time. Being able to listen to the wind and the waves would be much nicer.

I had Quesadillas which were average, a lot of cheese. Nothing new there. They could have added some sort of zing to it to be different. For the cost not a big head turner. NIce place, great servers, but my dish was a o k. We also had the spicey fries which you could barely taste the spice...And I am not a picky eater, but I do know great food..This is not extraordinary as I expected it to be.

Apart from forgetting to note to Open Table that we were there and honored our reservation all else was good.
