Join us every Thursday this winter as we transform our cozy hotel lobby into a lively atmosphere for our Wintertide Piano Bar featuring the talented Ricky Lauria. Whether you're enjoying a signature cocktail or savoring a seasonal bite while soaking in the music, the vibrant melodies and warm ambiance make this weekly event a true highlight of the winter season. Reservations are encouraged with arrival between 6:00PM-6:30PM. Please notify restaurant should you be arriving past 6:30PM. Very good We all had a lovely time . Plenty of tea w honey. I even saved the small honey jars. They were so cute. I will recycle them and use them again. I couldn’t seem to think they would go in the trash. We all ordered from menu. You could get the buffet but choose to order. I had the veggie quiche. Delicious. Everyone one else was happy at our table. Nice relaxing atmosphere. ❤️❤️💜💜Happy New year All

Great place to celebrate any occasion. Great views right on the water with a superior bar and a drink menu to compliment it. This is not a cheap place to dine but worth the price. Been here many times and the food never disappoints!

We ordered 4 shareable plates for 2 of us. It was plenty of food. My husband particularly enjoyed the Crab Cake (made in-house) which is always a benchmark dish for him. My favorite was the Duet of Octopus. We ordered the Curried Cauliflower which was very tasty but no curry flavor .... chili oil and a Marie Rose sauce maybe drizzled around. Our least favorite was the Mushrooms with Foie on Toast - the mushrooms overwhelmed the foie gras but it was a nice try. We really enjoyed trying the different plates and that is part of the fun. Service was attentive - shout out to Lisa!

It was such a beautiful holiday breakfast with my daughter and nieces who have never been to the Beauport , the Christmas decorations were not to be believed ! Simply gorgeous! The breakfast was outstanding and our waiter was so friendly. It was a fantastic experience

Very nice tastefully decorated for the holidays. Views were very nice and service was very good, but lets say that our stomachs were a little upset once we returned home.

Great food, and our server Jim was very good and attentive to our needs. However, the highlight of our evening was meeting Faye, the hostess. She was excellent in getting us settled in and delightful in making us feel welcome and appreciated as return diners at the 1606. We wish her every success in her career in the Hospitality Industry. Started off with an ocean side table, and everything even got better after that! Explained to the server, who was excellent, that we would order appetizers, and then order our main course when they arrived. This was based on last year's (same day - 12/24/23) experience; she had no issue with it and did not rush us at all. Mussels were even better than last year; the added squash was enjoyed by everyone. All of the food was prepared as ordered, and was excellent, and the desserts exceeded our expectations. Great place for any occasion, especially those family special occasions. Strongly recommend - we will be back!!
