All new restaurants face challenges as they find their place in the restaurant scene. This restaurant is no different… It seems like the direction of this restaurant is unclear; the variety of fish offered is limited compared to other Sushi restaurants and I was hard pressed to find the Latin influences, other than a few sauces. The dishes we chose were flavorful and had good presentation; but with several restaurants in the area offering Sushi, the selections did not stand out. I was surprised to see an automatic addition of a 18% gratuity on our bill. Providing a tip is not the issue, the issue is that this practice was never disclosed when making the reservation and secondly we were a party of 2. I have dined in a variety of restaurants on the island and numerous times in Wailea where automatic gratuity is disclosed and added to parties over 6 The wait staff although pleasant are obviously learning their responsibilities as our water glasses were never refilled. If drinks are not available then a pitcher of water would be appreciated. Although the musician was talented,the volume was too loud and the increased noise level created by all the hard surfaces did not encourage a relaxed dining experience .

Thank you for your review and visit. As we continue to fine tune our operations and continue to train our staff we will take some the items on your review into consideration. In reference to the 18% service charge, this is clearly stated on every page of our menu. Additionally, when you mention the lack of latin influence on our menu we would like to point out that we do have an entire selection of ceviches all made with traditional Peruvian ingredients (peppers, corn and cancha) and prepared in the traditional Peruvian way, we also have three of our entrees which are traditional Peruvian; 1) Lomo Saltado, 2) Pacific fish or Pescado a lo macho in Peru, 3) Seafood Rice or Arroz con Mariscos in Peru. Finally we have two traditional Peruvian sandwiches.

No liquor license! Be aware. They’ll pour one free glass of wine but that’s it. Food was OK, not spectacular. We tried three dishes, and honestly, I can’t even remember what they were. The space is all hard surfaces and incredibly noisy. Add to it the extremely loud live music and it was not a great experience. We ditched after three small plates and then picked up our meal and evening at the very excellent tiki bar located in adjacent retail space.

Excellent food and consistent service. Entertainment at 6 pm was wonderful. Enjoyed the sushi and Lomo Saltado. Staff super friendly. Definitely a favorite.

Food was very good. The biggest disappointment was that they were out of a number of things including several items that we had planned to try. Server was very friendly and attentive

What a great addition to the area! The sushi was the best I’ve ever had. Fresh, clean and flavorful. Prices were reasonable and right (don’t increase them after you get open and running). Service was excellent.

Great food and service. The hamachi karma was excellent (very fresh and tasty). The only drawback is that the music was too loud and overwhelming.
