Built right on the bank of the Guadalupe River, 1011 Bistro offers the most spectacular view in Kerrville. You will find something in our menu for a special occasion, family gathering, or just kick back with friends and a bottle of wine on our open terrace.

Our menu features some French and American specialties, as well as some Italian classics, with a touch of Texas. Appetizers include our famous Mussels in broth, baked Crab Cakes and crispy Calamari. You can also find salads, pasta dishes, steaks and fish. Did we mention all our desserts are homemade?

Our extensive wine list has something for everyone… California Cabernets and Zinfnadels, Italian Chiantis and Pinot Grigios, Malbecs from Argentina, and Australian Shiraz. Our menu is definitely wine-friendly.

Our server was in outer space. Salad came before wine. When we arrived host wished my husband a happy birthday. This was his 4th birthday in a row we celebrated here. After dinner our server asked if we would like anything else and we said we were all set. Then he brought the bill. No special dessert so I quietly inquired. He am said “Oh do you want that cake thing “, I acknowledged yes. Then he handled the check. No dessert arrived. Then he said “ Oh, I forgot the dessert didn’t I? He needs to work on his approach to this presentation. Not very busy like it always has been in the past.

Service and location top-notch! We sat outside with a great view, perfect temperature, and attentive staff. While I would not order the sea bass again, I would come back if only for a perfect slab of their whisky cake! Topped with toasted half-pecans and butter it killed along with a glass of tawny port. Nice!

Took my wife to dinner there for her birthday and everything from the time we arrived till the we left was first class! I had the filet mignon and my wife had the Chilean Sea Bass and both were amazing! Compliments to the chef! Our waiter Trevor was the best!! Took really great care of us!!

Food was good and service excellent; however, it was our 45th anniversary, which had been noted in my reservation, and reiterated when we arrived. We received a half portion of one of the desserts on a plate that said “Happy Birthday”. You know, sometimes it’s the little things that cause you to lose that extra star.

It was our first time at the restaurant. The warm bread was amazing. We ordered osso buco, filet mignon, salmon and sea bass. Osso buco and fliet mignon and salmon were just ok, not delicious. The sea bass was really hard to eat. It trastes fishy and rubbery. The view was amazing and I think it is the only thing that is really worth it at the place. Inside is dated.

I had the seafood pasta. It was plenty to eat and delicious. I will definitely return to try other entrees.
