First trip to 101, we live in Smyrna. Two in our party, celebrating a birthday, clearly noted on reservation. Ordered foie gras and porterhouse for two. Foie gras came with ONE small toast point, along with poached pears. Tasty but really skimpy with toast points, expected 3-4. So disappointed that our wonderful porterhouse was hard to cut and sinewy on the strip side. And to top it off, no small birthday dessert offered or even a happy day from server. We had to ask for bread, and the basket had to be removed because the table was so small. Truly a bit disappointed in this top end type steakhouse.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. Loved that the manager or owner came by and asked how everything was. Food was great and this is definitely a top steakhouse in Atlanta and I’ve been to them all. Very underrated.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at 101 Steakhouse. The food was great and the atmosphere was phenomenal. The service was impeccable and I encourage you to go and experience a night to remember.

My partner and I visited for our anniversary and my birthday, ironically enough I use to work there and have continued perusing the art of elevated dining. Whereas the food was top tier flavor wise, our food was room temperature and I could tell our server was a little overwhelmed. I do wish she had been a little more warm to converse with, I totally understand the rush of a busy Thursday night. 101 Steak has always and will always be one of my favorite steakhouses. If you’ve never been, I implore you to go! PS. Chef Joey, your plate decor is still some of the best I have ever seen lol. I’m not sure how you have such wonderful penmanship with chocolate but wow.

Absolutely incredible experience. Everything from the food, to the staff, to the decor is top shelf. You can't go wrong, and we will undoubtedly be back. Staff made my 11yr old who took mom out on a "date" feel so special he can't stop talking about it. THANK YOU!

The service was great. I loved my server. The steaks were a huge disappointment. They were having some temperature issues. My filet was too done, then my ribeye was as well. Loved the Burrata, but would not go back for steak.

1st time visiting, we drove over from Lawrenceville to try it out. Id say if you are on the NE side of Atlanta stick with Frankies or H&W, this place is a step down from that. Management was present and attentive. Servers were good but not a lot of cooperation going on for an establishment that wants to cater to a high end steak experience. We were put in a room that looked more like a party room, felt very disjointed and awkward trying to get in and out of there. Ambience in that room pales in comparison to the rest of the place which has a much more livelier vibe. Maybe that would have been a better experience for us on a date night. Food was ok. Not wow but also not bad. The steaks did not stand out as anything you'd want to go out of your way to eat however. I would not put this place on the same level as Kevin Rathbun or Frankies or H&W. Id say its a step below what you would experience at a Ruth's Chris or Flemings. I ordered my Prime Ribeye MR, and it was close enough. Good taste but didnt stand out as a Prime cut. My wife had the Filet and she said it was very good, she had hers cooked MW. Side we got the hand cut steak fries and mushrooms. The mushrooms were very good. The fries were too skinny to really be called steak fries. They cook them in Canola oil, which is better than soybean oil or vegetable oil but I wish more places would start adopting tallow, Id pay more for tallow steak fries. We did not order desert as we had something waiting for us at home we had made earlier in the day and we were wanting to have that. Id say if you live in the Vinings area, its a cut above the 3 star chains like Texas Road House, Pappadeaux type places but it didnt wow us as a 4 or 5 star steak house. We will likely not go back, not because it wasnt good but we have better places near us and can go down town if we want something different. If you go, ask to sit in the main dining area, we could very well be biased from the morgue like room we ate dinner in.
