101 Sky Terrace is part of the 101 Club, a collection of vibrant exciting new restaurants. Soaring above Michigan Avenue, 101 Sky Terrace offers a stunning rooftop escape with breathtaking Skyline views. Enjoy crafted cocktails, global Rosés, and local brews at our covered bar. Watch local sports on our TVs, or relax by the fire pits with communal and private seating options.

Chef Khellil’s menu features fresh salads, shareable plates, juicy burgers, gourmet entrees, and desserts. Join us for brunch on weekends from 11am-2pm. Experience live music and DJs during the weekend from 3-6pm.

It took an unreasonably long time to get our drinks. Ceviche was underwhelming. We were seated near the propane fire pit which continually emitted a high pitched tone. When we asked the servers about it, they attributed the noise to something not in property. There was no offer to reseat us. The best part? The view at night. It was a memorable experience for all the wrong reasons.

Food was good but on the expensive side for this restaurant. The environment was nice, Rooftop was good but wears off quickly. Why such a low rating, the service was comical. They had plenty of servers, but no one had a clue how to actually serve. They brought me a lime with their bare hands and asked if they wanted them to drop it in a drink. They never brought menus and finally brought us one. Only brought enough serving sets for two people and we had a bigger party. It goes on and on, but you would probably not believe what I say! Sadly because of the incredibly poor service, none of us will be returning.

Beautiful scenery but I ended up leaving the restaurant because after more than half an hour no waiters came to our table. Staff could probably be trained better. Please note that i didn’t actually try the food.

The Sky Terrace was an outdoor bar. Although it had a full menu with entrees, there were no normal tables so cutting and eating a steak or fish or chicken would require balancing a plate on your lap. It was surprisingly loud considering we were outside making conversation difficult. While food was reasonably priced, the quality was merely fair.

The server was the least enthusiastic and slowest I have ever encountered. We felt as though we were a burden to him on an evening which was not busy. The atmosphere and view were enjoyable. We were seated right next to the outdoor speaker on the floor.

Excellent international small plates in a great outdoor setting with a beautiful view. So convenient to the Michigan Avenue shopping district. We enjoyed it so much that we went back a few days later and ordered the sane items: burrata, shrimp cocktail and steak frite. We shared the three dishes and that was perfect. Great cocktails too.

Waited over an hour for our food to arrive which was the only downfall with no updates in between…

Upon our arrival at their main restaurant on the first floor, there was no host in sight to direct us to the Sky Terrace. We had to walk around and finally found a server to ask. Once we reached the Sky Terrace, we were told by the host that they were understaffed and tables may not be available. We had a reservation for 7:15. After a short time, the manager helped us and a few other customers and seated us at the high tables at the bar. Since they were understaffed, it took quite a while to get service and for our drinks to be served. The views were beautiful. The cocktails were delicious. The food and staffing were unfortunate. They have enormous potential but until they get it together, not worth the time or money when there are so many other amazing options nearby.

Our server Joe was incredible, the scenery was awesome and the food was delicious. Definitely check this place out!
