When deciding on a name for our new cafe, we wanted to pay tribute to our family's homeland. Our Family originates from Naples, Italy which has an area code of 081. One day during a family discussion, someone made this connection and the 081 Cafe was born.

Our family in Naples has a long history of opening premier eateries servicing their local communities with some of the friendliest atmospheres, serving the finest old-school dishes from generational family recipes.

Now in our third generation in America, our family proudly continues the tradition of providing delicious cuisine to local communities. Whether you choose Authentic Old-School Pizza cooked in an imported Brick Oven, a delectable Italian Dish or a savory Dessert, we promise to put all our passion and experience into every moment at our 'Cucina Italiana'...the 081 Cafe! Zero complaints on service but food was just okay. Food tastes pretty good but they were mostly pasta and very little stuff (seafood/meat). Not sure if I’d go back.

Very inattentive service. No menus after we were seated, same as other tables around us. Took 20+ minutes to be able to get an order in. 30 before our wine was opened. Food was not nearly good enough to make up for the service. Chicken parm was ok but pizza was very soggy. Literally could not pay with a credit card because our server refused to come back to the table. Glad I had cash to drop so I could finally leave.

First visit to 081 Cafe. Food was terrific and service was professional, attentive and experienced. Homemade pasta dishes were authentic and served right from the kitchen piping hot. A bit noisy but that is true for most Bergen County restaurants so can’t really fault them for that. Will definitely be back,

FIRST TIME THERE. BEING IN A LEMON GARDEN IN SORRENTO WAS PLEASANT. THERE COULD BE MORE SPACE AND IT WAS BUSY AND FELT A BIT OVERCROWDED. SERVICE WAS AVERAGE. FOOD WAS GOOD. I WILL RETURN BUT WHEN IT WAS NOT AS BUSY AS IT WAS VERY LOUD.
