The service was very bad, the server was only concerned about offering more without informing the extra charges. Right after food was served, he didn’t even come to my table to clean and make table ready for drinks or desert. I came out very dissatisfied and my bill was double the amount of the main course I had.

Firstly let me say that I haven’t been here since around 2001 and I won’t be returning, this is classic rip off London. Having dined in many of Londons fabulous restaurants on a regular basis, knowing good food and great customer service, we were met with sour attitudes, over priced cocktails and aggressive management behaviour that was nothing other than vile! We didn’t even get to the food, we walked out! We have never done that before! Having made a point that the drinks served were well under par both in content and measure especially for the price the manager became aggressive and threatening. We both love a cocktail but literally all of them had an iceberg in the middle which once removed left a thumbnail of cocktail in the bottom, and a glass of champagne was served as half a glass! When we questioned the measures the general manager had the audacity to show us in a measuring cup with water the amount they use whilst pouring it all over my feet and being rather unpleasant and aggressive in my face. This was all whilst we were waiting to order food, which we didn’t. We left, heading off to another restaurant we love in St. James’s. The manager refused to give us his name and followed us out of the restaurant. This place has zero class, it’s a tired, and a second rate rip off joint that happens to have a decent spot in St James’s but let me tell you there’s so much better literally just around the corner - every other corner in fact. Will never return!

Quaglino’s is somewhere you go when you have an ‘occasion’ to celebrate- on a Saturday night it was fully booked, people were dressed up and there was a lovely buzzy excitement at being out and about in their large dinning room with a dramatic staircase entrance. We sat in a corner booth which for two of us perfect - we could talk but look out on the room. It seemed to be that larger groups were in the middle of the room, creating a great atmosphere and there was a jazz band (fyi you get charged a music service on your bill). Our food was great, pricey but for a special occasion that is what you expect, the service friendly and efficient - shout out to our waitress Joan who was very warm and enthusiastic and all in all we had a great lively night out.

we used to go this restaurant quite often not been for a while BUT what a disaster everything was bas unprofessional food terrible VERY VERY NOISY BAND couldn't hear ourselves talking. NEVER AGAIN.

My girlfriends and I went to the Saturday brunch to celebrate our 40th and found it ridiculously overpriced, for what it is. We waited an hour between the starter and the main course and when the food arrived it wasn't anything special. I understand it's London, so I wasn't expecting a cheap night, but there is a charge for the band who left halfway through our meal. Overall very disappointing.

The restaurant allowed me to make a reservation for 10:30pm only to get there and I’m told their kitchen is closed which is absolutely absurd. Why allow people make a dinner reservation if the kitchen closes at that time. The staff then tried to convince me to try the restaurant next door so she could cancel my reservation and still charge me cancellation fee; the audacity!!! I was then made to order small snacks which the waiters couldn’t even get right. The only good thing about the night was the live band and music other than that I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone Very very very poor service completely ruined my anniversary dinner

Very dated, tables were comparable to a cheap cafe, the knives were blunt The cost was unbelievable for what we had. Been before but probably not again
