Le Quaglino's est devenu la vedette du quartier St James depuis qu'il a ouvert ses portes en 1929. Stunning looking restaurant, good ambiance, food was delicious except the side dishes of vegetables didn’t arrive until the main meal was almost finished.. I removed them from the bill. The music which has a compulsory charge was loud and not that enjoyable because we couldn’t enjoy our conversation so we waited for the breaks in between sessions!!

Probably my favourite dine-dance-&-live music place. Very few good spots in London now and no one does it quite as well as Quags. The food, service and ambience is always excellent and to the venue's credit, they stay open reasonably late - last night's 2nd act came on at 10.45pm (and they were superb) - whereas so many venues shut early these days.

My first time post Covid dining at Quaglino’s and most definitely my last. It’s never a good sign when a restaurant has so many tables free during peak dinner in central London. Our waiter can only have been described as surly and found it a personal inconvenience that members of our table were still making their mind up over which main course to have when he came to take orders and instead of giving recommendations he simply rolled his eyes and muttered in an impolite tone- if you’re charging £36 for a main course, do better. I absolutely detest restaurants that lie when you ask for an alternate table, initially we were given a table at the corner of the stage and we asked to be moved slightly further back so we could enjoy some conversation, the response was “no we have other guests who specifically requested that table and are coming later” and “all those areas are closed” funnily enough when I asked for the a la carte menu we were then offer to move. No other tables of 5 dined after us. Why make customers feel that they’re only a priority if you spend more? After spending 2.5hrs and only receiving two courses we decided our time would be better spent elsewhere. Spend your money elsewhere.

What a gem of a place. We went Monday night, which was quiet but still fab. Music was excellent, and the service and food are up there with the best I have ever experienced.

A wonderful evening; food was absolutely fantastic - best beef tartare I have had in a very long while and a fantastic tuna steak with an excellent blueberry creme brûlée. Jazz night was a little too loud for too long for my liking.

The guy who looked after us was excellent Petit Mara. The gave us a great seat as it was our 10th wedding anniversary. The whole thing was fabulous great food music etc. they even made a fuss of us with a plate of macaroons top top night. We had a fabulous time. Thanks for looking after us. Pitot is a top guy 💯👍
