Live music was great and saved the day! Food was bang average at high end prices. Wouldn't return.

When you see waiters whizzing around not giving you the time of the day to make an order, rushing through their service - you know there’s a problem with management of staff. We spent the first 35mins of the night sat with the menus as we watched the waiters whizzing by. Our own waiter was clearly sweating profusely likely from being overworked. When we eventually ordered the food came quickly but cooked to a standard you’d expect from a regular pub. The pièce the resistance was random items added to our bill which wasn’t a lot of money but I pointed them out anyway and the waiter gruffly and unapologetically went to correct it. Sadly from this recent experience I won’t be coming back.

We visited London for a fun experience and thought we would have first class service given we paid a lot for the 95th birthday celebration. While the entertainment was great and ambiance was nice, our server never asked us if we needed anything, not even a drink. The food was okay but all 4 of us thought it was slow and overcooked. Just expected better service which makes the entire experience better even if food was not supurb.

The food was superb, and the attentiveness of the staff from the moment we entered the door until the point of leaving, was absolutely brilliant, possibly the best we have ever experienced.

Beautiful venue but very quiet so there wasn’t much atmosphere. Food was cold when served and all drinks were not cold. Food was tasty when it came back to us. Was expensive for what we receive but the singer was excellent so just classed that as £30 pp for entertainment.

This dining experience was simply the worst I have ever had. Having enjoyed a meal here with my company last Christmas, I booked to bring my family for my wife’s birthday. Our table was booked for 9.15, over an hour later we only had water on our table. We alerted staff several times and when our drinks finally arrived, we waited a further 20 minutes for our starters. My wife’s scallops were over cooked. We called over a member of staff who offered a replacement. This took an additional 20 minutes to arrive. We had been in the restaurant well over two hours before our starter plates were cleared More drinks were ordered for which we all waited over half an hour at various times The main courses were another 30 minutes arriving by which time my teenage children were fed up and we were feeling thoroughly disappointed. Our steaks were nice and the only high point in a miserable experience. Our bill was £450 for this disaster. We spoke to the manager a second time and he offered to discount our bill, however the discount was no compensation for the terrible experience and we still paid hundreds of pounds. I would welcome a conversation with a more senior restaurant manager.
