At the slightest sight of summer, we open the doors to our patio where you can sit and take in the beautiful Victorian Industrial architecture that the site is famous for. Grab a seat at the Oyster Bar where you can mingle with a Chef shucking your oysters to order and teaching you about the amazing flavours and how to best match it to our selection of local beers.

Expensive, but lots of options. We were three who chose •Fish Tacos • Shrimp Cobb Salad • Steak Frites. All delicious but a bit too salty especially Steak Frites. Nice selection of beverages with & without alcohol. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Nice big patio, but we ate inside due to threat of rain.

The summer menu was amazing. My branzino with peaches was so fresh! Great time!

Great place for a bit after our Soul Pepper performance. The Steak Frites were delicious. Love that they also have non-alcoholic beverages as well. Will be back.

I had a great experience. Service was great and the food was very good for the price point. Very attentive and enthusiastic staff. Happy this place exists in such a nice part of the city.

Very disappointed! Not our first time there but will be our last! It’s a seafood restaurant but they were out of lobster and the seafood tower! The shrimp cocktail was covered in sauce. The Caesar salad had a vinegar dressing on it. The staff could hardly wait to go home..they were loud and we heard them say it! We were celebrating a birthday and received nothing. Would not recommend!

We appreciate you taking the time to review our restaurant and coming back to see us. It is disappointing to hear we didn't quite hit the mark when it came to your meal especially our Straight Up Ceasar Salad and our Sustainable Shrimp Cocktail. That being said, we would have been happy to replace anything that was not to your preference. We always want our guests to leave feeling wow'd by their meals. Had the all-you-can-eat mussels (Mondays as of June 24th) and the fish tacos…delicious! Highly recommend!

Had an issue with one of our entrees (took way too long to come to the table) but the manager came and apologized- and dessert was on them. We’ve been coming here for many years. It’s always a lovely meal. Other than the one issue, everything was fantastic.

Our seered tuna was excellent as our main course. Probably the best we have had in years. Perfectly seasoned and with asparagus. Our server, Grace, was excellent as well. Polite and courteous. The decor seemed somewhat dated. The restaurant was not noisy when we were there for a Saturday lunch. Overall, Pure Spirits was a pleasant dining experience.

Always a great meal and the wait staff are incredibly friendly. I’ve never been disappointed and I’m a frequent diner at Pure Spirits.

We thought the oysters were quite good. But we order the snack platter to share, the chicken wings were served ice cold, the tempura and bang bang broccoli batters were under cooked, the best thing on the platter was the fried okra, it was quite good. Service was professional and helpful and the overall atmosphere was good For the price point were a little let down and would most likely not return due to the experience with the food.

Your kind words about our restaurant atmosphere mean a lot to us, and while we’re happy to know you enjoyed our Southern Fried Okra Bites from the Pure Snack Sampler, it makes us extremely disappointed to learn that we failed to meet the mark when it comes to our Bang Bang Broccoli, the Crispy BBQ Wings and the Tempura Calamari.
