Contemporary Indian cuisine, extensive wine menu, classic cocktails and craft beer. Menu includes snacks, kebabs and a list of mains from the Indian subcontinent: Punjabi chicken curry from the north, Boatman's Curry from the south and local creations like Braised Short Ribs with black cumin curry.     Food was outstanding. Same for the service. I was returning for my second visit after 2 years and it was exactly as terrific as I remembered.

    Our ( girlfriend’s night out ) was a delight. Surprised to benefit from Sunmerlicious. The pricing and choice and size of doses allowed us to each choose different apps and main and has a taste of very different dishes. Pukka has always been a cut about other Indian restaurants. Xo rubies to delight.

    Picked Summerlicious options.. Appetizers were salty, gave the feedback to correct in main course. Main course 1 dish was fine other was with bland , chunky chicken pieces. Desserts were fresh and ok. Feedback and support was given to server. Manager promptly made the meal free which was denied by us and then gave 50% off as a trade off. We paid the entire bill at the end compensated thru tip to match total bill. All in all pretty positive staff but tastes are aligned towards their clientele that sometimes goes against indian cuisine texture, taste and spices. Location is not great either as compared to similarly priced restaurants in Toronto.

    We forgot about summerlicious and got a few new dishes I hope will end up on the regular menu, for example cauliflower gobi

    I go to this restaurant each time I’m in Toronto - it’s a fresh take on Indian food and the bar offers a wide range of cocktails. I always enjoy the service. You should try it!

    Food remains authentically Indian but a delightful and creative twist!! Derek and Harsh do a superlative job even today, over a decade after we first dined there. Chefs are obviously brilliant and very contemporary while remaining true to the flavours of my youth. Try the PUKKA CHAAT, GUNPOWDER PRAWNS, BOATMAN’s FISH AND PRAWN CURRY with RICE. Portion size is excellent. Spicy Margarita was 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Chutneys are delicious!’

    Finally! I got my chance to dine in after sampling Pukka at a friend's catered party. We were not disappointed. This was a biz meeting for three people with different dietary preferences. After devouring the beautifully crafted papadoms with a gorgeous tamarind sauce, we went to town on our meal. No doubt all three of us will be back! GREAT job, Pukka!

    This is one of my favourite restaurants to go to for special occasions or with friends. The food is reliably good, and it's a good value for the money. I love this place.
