Always love the food and service but unfortunately our table was next to a very fun party of 15 and the noise level was intolerable

Harsh and Derek created a wonderful summerlicious menu. All items tried were tasty and complimented each other. Service was very attentive as well. The. Noise level was loud and made it difficult to speak to our friends sitting across from us. Perhaps the front of the restaurant is a better place for this. Thanks again for a wonderful outing.

Made reservations for their Summerlicious menu. Food was outstanding, service was efficient warm and friendly but the noise level was deafening. There was no room on their patio. In their defence the restaurant was packed which was great to see. But when considering a return trip should it be earlier later, or perhaps takeout. But will not book for the same time as we could not communicate with each other and isn’t that what “eating out” is all about?

Went for Summerlicious. Good selection for 3 courses. Whole meal was very good but the cauliflower appetizer was the standout.

Over the last 10 years, I’ve been to Pukka approximately half a dozen times. I am grateful that they have not just survived but are thriving post pandemic! Moreover, it is remarkable for a restaurant to stay so consistent in their food quality and service for over a decade. Not an easily attained achievement. On this visit, my fellow diner and I ordered from the Summerlicious menu. I can never resist and pleased to see their signature appetizer: String Chaat. on the Summerlicious prix fixe menu. While taking inspiration from, it’s an evolved and more exciting version of Chaat Pappri. The other innovative app. is their Smoked Eggplant tartar. Presented in a pâté form, surrounded by bite crackers. For our mains their Butter Chicken which my fellow diner said had real finesse. Perhaps because of a retrained use of ghee. My choice was an equally pleasing Goan Fish Curry. In which the protein was properly cooked. Without over cooking it. A common faux pas in too many restos. With a very tempting quad of desserts, it a challenge for some to choose one. For me there was no debate as I knew that they are gelatos are sourced from Queen Streets’ Death in Venice . Rather than the more traditional vanilla or chocolate, their Raspberry flavour is my default. As it’s close to just picked pure fruit as one can get! Service is attentive and prompt without being overly familiar and obtrusive.Resulting in an incredibly satisfying and enjoyable dining experience. Which explains the ratings and kudos from several travel and dinning sites from both sides of the 49th. parallel. As their website states “not your mother’s Indian”. While it may be untraditional and yet I very much doubt many mothers or fathers can cook at this level. A fine establishment that is worthy of your custom.

Food was outstanding. Same for the service. I was returning for my second visit after 2 years and it was exactly as terrific as I remembered.

Our ( girlfriend’s night out ) was a delight. Surprised to benefit from Sunmerlicious. The pricing and choice and size of doses allowed us to each choose different apps and main and has a taste of very different dishes. Pukka has always been a cut about other Indian restaurants. Xo rubies to delight.

Picked Summerlicious options.. Appetizers were salty, gave the feedback to correct in main course. Main course 1 dish was fine other was with bland , chunky chicken pieces. Desserts were fresh and ok. Feedback and support was given to server. Manager promptly made the meal free which was denied by us and then gave 50% off as a trade off. We paid the entire bill at the end compensated thru tip to match total bill. All in all pretty positive staff but tastes are aligned towards their clientele that sometimes goes against indian cuisine texture, taste and spices. Location is not great either as compared to similarly priced restaurants in Toronto.
