Welcome to the Puddicombe House, award winning casual fine dining in an elegantly restored 1868 mansion in downtown New Hamburg. Executive Chef Jammie Monk leads the culinary team. The restaurant has been named to the Open Table Top 100 Restaurants to Dine Outdoors in Canada and the top 100 Romantic Restaurant in Canada. It has also been featured in a upcoming Hallmark movie as well as making an appearance on the Netflix show Anne with a "E" The menu consist of handcrafted cocktails, wood fire pizzas, skillfully plated entrees

The ambience was a great experience. Our greeters were very polite and our server was excellent. The food was also very good. The anniversary desert was a nice surprise! We are already talking about coming back soon!

Delightful and very attentive service in, an attractive ambience. The food was excellent and well-presented. My only small disappointment was a slightly tough streak and the broccoli. Don't think the chef's heart was in cooking the broccoli! Overall we had an excellent and certainly recommend this restaurant

This was our third time to dine in the restaurant. First two times we ordered short rib entree and it was perfect and very delicious. But this time we were very disappointed. Everything was over-salted, especially chicken entree, I can hardly eat only vegetables one piece. When we mentioned this to the waitress she just said‘sorry’ when I expected some compensation for this or replace with better food. This was our anniversary dinner and it was very disappointing this time.

We love the patio and overall experience when we go to Puddicombe House. The food is always fantastic, great service and we leave happy every time! If you haven't tried the curry bowl - don't miss out!
