WORST (and only bad) dining experience I have had in my 2 years in Chicago! The service was horrible - it took an hour from when we finished our appetizers to when we were served our entrees, despite putting the whole order in at once. They kept asking if we wanted to buy more drinks to hold us over… Our server didn’t seem sorry and even with our obvious concern for the timing, we never saw a manager. We had to ask several times about when our food was coming. When the food did finally arrive, it was horrible. The pasta was bland, the sauces were watery, and nobody was happy. After sharing our disappointment for the timing and taste, the server offered us a shot which we declined as we just wanted to leave - we had been there for hours at this point. Still, no manager. All around, this was a horrible experience. In the end, they comped a few cocktails after we asked which was nice, but the damage was done. We won’t be returning and I would never recommend this spot to anyone. There are tons of great restaurants in the city and this one misses the mark.

We enjoyed happy hour specials while sitting at the bar. They are very good value! I especially like the Chianti and pasta Bolognese. For dessert, try the Butter Cake. Outstanding!

Really poor service. Totally get things happen - lots of walk ins, kitchen gets slammed - but it’s how you handle it. What’s not okay is leaving your table for 1.30mins with minimal interaction and no apology. Only after asking 4 times did we get any real acknowledgment and a free drink. When our food finally turned up orders were wrong and food mediocre. (E.g seafood = salmon and nothing else). We booked ahead but were not prioritised. Really disappointing. Would not recommend.

Great local especially the room on the 1st floor. Floor Unfortunately, we had to wait a very long time for our food. which is unfortunately not always pleasant if you do not have so much time, but this should be an exception because the marthon took place on Sunday and the restaurant was full. In such a case I would have liked at least a coffee offered or a limoncello, no matter the food was top and the service always tried. will gladly come back

The menu was extensive and complete with classic Italian dishes as well as new entrees you don’t typically find other places. The fresh pasta and seafood was excellent and the service matched the food. It was our first time visiting and would definitely go again.

This was my second time at Prosecco. I can not compare last nights experience with the first one. The first time, few months ago, it was excellent, so much so that I wrote them a 5 star review on Google. Last night ambiance ruined the entire experience, it was uncomfortably loud, so much that we could not hear each other when shouting! Not only that noise was terrible, this time the food taste and quality proved to be equally as disappointing. In hind side we should have left the moment we walked in due to noise, but I was looking forward to my previous dinner experience, so we decided to stay. I ordered the same main course as before - seafood linguini. This portion was small, there was hardly any seafood in it, and tomato flavor was lost. Jewel Osco could have done a better job heating up a jar of canned sauce on sale for $.99 and throwing some noodles on it. My friend ordered truffle pasta; it tasted like soggy bread. In an effort to bring up the flavor, I asked for extra truffle; non-other then the owner came and served us. He however assumed, that my friend wanted more truffle in her soggy bread, when in fact it was me, hoping to boost my sad linguine taste. Without asking, he shaved a bunch into her plate and left. We got charged $35 for that. It was so loud, and I was not in a mood to argue so I let it go ... Tiramisu was creamy, tasted like whipped cream and coffee with consistency of wet socks. The owner, and staff were apologetic for the noise, so I do empathize with them - it was busy. But as a guest, I was looking for good experience and good food - this time it was not it. In the end, we paid $300 for 2. Thumbs down Food tase was perhaps the same, but it was so noisy and loud that I simply could not wait to get out. My friend and I were sitting across from each other and we could not communicate. I would have enjoyed a $2 hambuInadevretdly, I anyone wanted to have a meal under a running train,
