                                                The location is stunning and we were seated by a window, although my seat was a bit obstructed. Paula, our server, was very sweet and attentive. That said, we were a bit disappointed with the food for such an upscale restaurant. Our salad took over 30 minutes from ordering to arrive and was good but nothing special. And, the “medium-well” ribeye steaks were actually overcooked.

                                                The food was creative and service was friendly. What was frustrating was that the bottle of wine we wanted (listed for 59 CAD in the same hotel at the restaurant upstairs) was 75 CAD on the menu posted outside Primrose and a whopping 98 CAD on the menu we received at our table.

                                                Great dinner. I had the tomatoe soup and the ragout and my partner had the ceasar salad and the salmon. I was pretty full after the yummy soup but I enjoyed the ragout but could not eat it all.., my partner helped me out 😂😂 Our server was very good and everyone was very pleasant and the ambiance and view were awesome!

                                                Our server was Monique. She was cheerful, gracious, took care of our many questions and concerns. She went over and above what was expected. The evening was lovely. We highly Rey the bison ragout.

                                                Everything about Primrose was perfect. Beautiful dining room, view, food and service. The pink velvet cake was delicious! This was our favorite dining experience during our stay in Banff.

                                                My wife and I have a lovely meal celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. Its a lovely restaurant with fantastic views of Lake Louise. Good food and good selection of drinks and wine. Service efficient and very friendly.
