Food was good but not exciting, I felt something was missing, there was no wow factor. Great dining area and ambiance. Wine was excellent.

Atmosphere was lovely and food was delicious. Unfortunately the service made us feel a bit inadequate. We were reminded several times to get our order together quickly and felt pushed to order more than we felt we might have wanted. Nothing egregious. But felt from start to finish that our server wanted us to push on and get out in time for their “real” customers to arrive. All in all I feel funny writing this as the restaurant itself is lovely, but I’ll never go again.

Tasty seasonal food at its best. Staff are always friendly. Beautiful light falls into the space from the old factory doors. Never disappoints.

Truly excellent food in roughly the vein of River Cafe / Petersham Nurseries but those places give you a table of your own. Here you must sit with others at a general table or - as we did when we came as a two - sit side by side at a bar on the side. Fine, but at that point the very high prices and quick brusque service becomes unacceptable. The St John Bread and Wine is a bit like this but somehow a lot nicer. You can't charge people £25 - £35 for a main and yet give them the atmosphere of a canteen. We won't be coming back.

We had a great time and service and food was incredible! Just a quick note that we did flag my friend is allergic to wild garlic - throughout the evening she started to feel really unwell, her face swelled up and kept sneezing and we realised this is because the tables had allium flowers that are part of the wild garlic family. No one's fault at all just thought I'd flag and explain why we rushed out and didn't stay for desert.
