The service was terrible. The environment was so loud I could barely hear my wife speaking sitting across from me. We only ordered steak and mac n cheese but took over an hour to get our food. Others that came in after us got their food way before us. I ordered my steak medium well and got rare. The mac n cheese noodles were mushy. I would not recommend this restaurant! We normally go to Mahogany’s but thought to try Prime out. Worse decision ever! If you want a great steak, great food, great service, and quiet environment, just go eat at Mahogany’s off 61st/Yale.

We are first time customers. We were seated promptly on a Friday night with reservations. We had 2 mixed drinks, one beer, and one wine. All were very good. Zac B was our waiter, and he was excellent & helpful in every way. The appetizers ( Lump crab cocktail, E. coast oysters) were great. The 6 oz filet, and Prhyme Mixed Grill(tenderloin, lamb, & pork belly) were prepared per order, and perfect. The shared dessert was the Chocolate Pie with a birthday discount. The atmosphere was moderate, but not too noisy for a Friday night. We had a great first experience for celebrating a birthday, and will return.

We are regulars at Prhyme, we probably go at least 1-2 times per month and we know our order like the back of our hand. We had a new server this time, which is refreshing because we usually get someone who chats a lot and we don’t need the whole list of items like someone newer to Prhyme. However, it took our server 10 minutes to even greet us and over 30 minutes to receive our food after ordering. We never received our bread basket either. Lastly, we waited another 10 minutes after we were completely done with dinner to order our dessert because the server was chatting with the host. Typically the service is spot on and truthfully, borderline annoying, tonight we felt as though we were a burden to our server. It honestly makes us want to find a new date night spot.

This was another remarkable experience! We dine here for almost every birthday or anniversary and it continues to be one of our favorites! Last night, Nathan, I believe was his name. He was attentive, very informative and made sure to check on us in a timely manner. I very much appreciated his knowledge of the menu. The food was amazing, as always! I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant from the moment you walk in the door, until the time you leave, you are treated with the upmost respect. Thank you again for another delightful evening! I do want to add, we tried the crab legs and I have to say, the absolute BEST I have ever had. So flavorful and delicious!
