My favorite food place in La Grange. Always a great breakfast, lunch or dinner. Fresh and consistently good. Even the carry outs. What we like most is the noise level is usually low. It’s hard to find a place where you can talk. We were lucky enough to get a booth.

Had the beet salad and soup of the day. Was so good! Ended with gooey butter cake. Highly recommend!

The host didn't welcome us in, nor did he smile or ask about our reservation; we felt like a bother when he seated us even though we clearly listed in our notes that we were there to celebrate my husband's birthday. Additionally, our server, Betty, didn't really talk with us or welcome us in to Prasino or ask if we had benn there before or review the specials; she took our order, dropped off our food, and didn't come back until dessert. Our menus remained on our table the whole night waiting to be collected. We had to order a round of drinks through the clearing staff and bar staff. No one asked us how our meal was (we both had the short rib entree -$32- and, though I like Swiss chard normally, the way it was prepared was nearly raw). We tried to salvage dinner by ordering dessert: I ordered the flourless chocolate cake, and my husband ordered the gooey butter cake. His cake was okay with a scoop of ice cream on the side; the scoop of ice cream with my cake was tasteless and seemed to be from the bottom of the barrel because it was crunchy (freezer burned?). Again, no one stopped to ask us how our dessert was or if we needed anything else. Finally, there was no celebration or recognition of my husband's birthday. During a prime-time Saturday dinner slot at the previously elevated Prasino, we were expecting much, much more, and we were thoroughly disappointed across the board. We will likely not dine there again based on our experience with so many more excellent dining options in the busy downtown LaGrange area.

My husband and I shared the Short Rib Skillet with pancakes on the side. It is delicious and plenty of food to share.

First time there and already talking about going back. Great menu and we all shared our meals as they were wonderful which caused an initial hard time on deciding what to order - hence sharing our meals.

Went to dinner with my parents for NYE and our waitress was excellent. I cannot recall her name but she was Greek and her service was 10/10. Highly recommend this place because of her! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely adore this neighborhood spot. It is the coolest vibe, such a great place to meet family and friends for a meal. The food is always fresh and thoughtful. I believe the restaurant is owned by a Greek family and you already know that this is the spot to be for a good meal and a great experience. The weight staff is always very quick and helpful with placing orders. They have fresh squeeze juices and an amazing assortment of cocktails and coffee is. And I love that their breakfast and lunch menus are so Extensive, there is something for everyone at this restaurant and it is wellness focused. I always really appreciate how fresh the ingredients are. Love this place, I’ve been many times and will continue to go!

The ambience was nice? Modern and clean our food was so delicious with good quality ingredients, particularly the bacon. Our waitress was so sweet and professional. It was my first time there with my friend and we had so much to talk about and didn’t feel the noise level was bad at all even with it being busy. Definitely coming here again! I got the sour dough bacon egg and cheese with aioli. It was perfect and hot.
