Since 1989, the Powerhouse Eatery has been providing customers with an exceptional dining experience in a unique, historic atmosphere. The former power plant from which we take our name has been transformed into a contemporary dining destination, welcoming patrons from throughout the country to our home in White Haven, Pennsylvania. Yet the distinctive past of our building is always present in our remarkable experience, accompanied by our relentless attention to detail, fierce commitment to quality, and peerless customer satisfaction.

The Holiday vibe was evident from the moment we walked in to the Powerhouse... From appetizer through dessert it was on point! Michael our server was exquisite...The food did not disappoint....

Christmas Eve mid afternoon visit. Holiday decor was lovely, understated elegance. Staff was very cordial, especially with it being a holiday. They had a beautiful special menu for the holiday, but chose to go with a standard stuffed shell pasta with an add on of one meatball. Excellent pasta and the sauce which is called a slightly sweet marinara was absolutely perfect. Staff was considerate and thoughtful in their suggestions. The garlic bread is seasoned just right. The only thing missing was a glass of Chianti, but that was on me because I was driving so chose not to indulge. Great meal, great staff (Devon), great decor. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful, cozy setting. The waiter was wonderful. It took quite awhile to receive our entrees but the food was excellent and hot when it arrived.

This is a fairly remotely located restaurant built out of an old electric power generation plant, and is really an incredibly satisfying place to dine whether you want a special night out or just a high quality meal or a night out with friends at a classy bar/lounge. Wife and I have gone several times and with friends and have never been disappointed. Three stars overall for this visit only because I had made the reservation for a special occasion (Birthday Dinner), indicated as such, but my wife received no recognition or special treatment. So I left with a "bad taste" because we generally felt that the restaurant was doing us a favor allowing us to dine, when at other times we have been warmly welcomed and cheerfully attended to by all the staff. Maybe it was just an off night for everyone. Regardless, still love this place, and highly recommend. The food is outstanding. If you want it to be a "special date," though, you might be disappointed.

First off our server Toni was amazing. She kept coming to check on us and she was extremely thoughtful and caring. I really appreciate good service and we got it! The steaks and salmon were very good however my husband ordered the duck special which was served rare and hr couldn’t chew it. He was encouraged by the rest of us to send it back but didn’t do it’s only partially the restaurants fault. When Toni saw that he didn’t eat it she was very concerned and upset. But then he got an amazing piece of chocolate cake so he was fine! The noise was a little amped up because of a large private party next to us but the outstanding service Made up for it. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back
