Since 1989, the Powerhouse Eatery has been providing customers with an exceptional dining experience in a unique, historic atmosphere. The former power plant from which we take our name has been transformed into a contemporary dining destination, welcoming patrons from throughout the country to our home in White Haven, Pennsylvania. Beautiful day, so we sat on the patio. Wilson was a great server. Food and drinks were delicious and we didn’t wait long for our food. Another great meal at The Powerhouse!

We have always enjoyed the Powerhouse and the food has been very good. My husband and I had not been in quite some time so we decided to go there for his birthday. The appetizers were very good (mine) but my husbands salmon dinner was unfortunately a big expensive disappointment. The salmon was not even warm, his potatoes were scalding hot and the asparagus was very undercooked. My Caesar was very underdressed, but the grilled shrimp was very good. No we did not complain…our waitress, although very nice and attentive in the beginning was running around busy w other large tables of people. They were certainly crowded that night…perhaps that was part of the problem, but we still paid the same price…in more ways than one. 😞

We were a party of three. The drinks were fabulous. The black cherry martini was amazing. It smelled like a big black. I’m sorry it tasted like a big black cherry. I had the fillet so did my Excuse me friend with the crab on it. That was excellent. My husband had the veal and that was excellent. Our service was great. I loved the outdoor patio. There was an umbrella. It was a little warm, but we did choose to sit outside. We will definitely return.

Server was superb! Food portions were VERY small & definitely overpriced. We were hungry an hour after dinner.
