Been to this restaurant many times for special occasions, but this time they never looked that it was my birthday and ignored request for my usual table.. receptions 3 girls were more into themselves having fun than doing their job. Told me that they don’t take reservations for the table i have reserved dozens of time. Their wait staff was over whelmed and service was so slow and uncaring. I had two birthday gift certificates family had called in, but no mention until my family called us to see if got them and we asked our server…then he acknowledged it was my birthday and he did in fact have two gift cards…just weird. However, the food was of good quality and we didn’t let the handling of our service ruin a special nite..

We loved everything about this place. The drinks were amazing, the food was delicious. Our table ordered the steak, pork chop and scallops. All were amazing. The server was very on top of everything and very helpful with suggestions.

We had a 7:30 reservation but didn't get seated until after 8:00. Our table was under two separate AC vents and was quite chilly so we'll remember to wear our jackets even in mid-summer. We sat upstairs because the acoustics downstairs makes for noise that gets progressively louder as people can't hear each other. Upstairs was still loud, but better. The scallops were very good, the pork chop was only okay. Desserts, however, were excellent and unusual. While I would recommend Postero, I would also tell them everything I've said above and maybe add a couple of alternative venues as well.

The food was amazing!!! The plating was beautiful! Would for sure go back. Appetizers could’ve been bigger for price. but everything was spectacular.

Loved everything we ordered, all the food was outstanding. Shrimp ceviche with peach and The Steak were standouts.

Postero's Restaurant remains dependably very good every time we visit thru out the year. Service is great, cocktails are good and food is usually very good and features seasonal ingredients. The only area that they come up short on is sometimes food is not seasoned to the level that people desire. There is no Salt or pepper on the tables and you have to ask for those ingredients.

Eaten here 4-6 times a year since they opened a decade ago. Wife and I grew up in large cities with great restaurants. Posteros is the high quality restauarant you will find in New York City, Boston, St. Louis, Cleveland, Chicago or any other major city and at a great value. Posteros always - every single time - turns out delicious meals. There are a few other good establishments in the Hendersonville/Asheville area but NONE can match Posteros. Enjoy!

Postero Revisit since Covid. Sweet competent waitress. Food was excellent. Hubby and I had different dishes and both were delicious. Negative: menu posted a large notice of 3% gratuity for kitchen staff; We witnessed about 10 folks in the kitchen, several of them in training. First restaurant we’ve ever seen put that onto the customer! Then at checkout, presumptive suggestion 18-20% for waitstaff. It’s Expected it said. This after we just paid to park also. We feel the server should Earn their service tip. The kitchen staff should be properly paid; The menu should not guilt-trip the customer on this point! The restaurant should consider validating our parking receipt to encourage us to come back. We had early 5 pm dinner but the hostess at the desk was unprepared and hesitated to get us seated. No welcome or friendliness. 🥲 It was our 2nd night in Hendersonville.Our First night—dinner at a fine dine with No such Entitlement Vibes, free parking, and a warmer hospitality atmosphere. Soooo likely not coming back due the sense of gouge and entitlement feeling. Don’t run off the customer downtown Hendersonville!! Too much and left a bad impression.
