    Very good service. Drinks quick and well prepared. Food is solidly prepared and ample size but not overly creative.

    My steak had raw portions and had to send back to cook. My guest’ steelhead was wonderful. The mashed potatoes were full of skin. We’re trying to have a romantic dinner but the next table was so close we could hear their conversation. The Portland Grill web site says attire is “business casual “ whereas most diners wore blue jeans and old shirts. Very disappointed. Even one dude was wearing a hat at the dinner table. Obviously Portland Grill doesn’t care or enforce their own rules. We were not impressed. We won’t be back. Very disappointing!

    We didn't realize that window seats are for parties of 4 or less, it wasn't obvious until we were booking a reservation. Overall a great experience, great food and wait staff excellent. The tables in the dining area were a bit crowded, and the music didn't seem to suit a quieter evening, but we still enjoyed our night.

    Overall, this is a good restaurant, but to an out-of-towner, it seems like the atmosphere is its best attribute. The views are great and the decor is nice. The food was very good. The service was friendly but subpar. We mentioned that we were visiting for our anniversary and that my wife was gluten free due to a sensitivity, which the server had forgotten, along with my drink. All in all, very good. But better for the views than anything else.

    Me and my friend had dinner for our Birthdays and it was a beautiful first time experience the food was delicious and service was amazing and our Server William was very kind and helpful 😊 We definitely will be coming back .

    Unfortunately, we did not have a positive experience. We were celebrating my wife's birthday with a 5:30 dinner reservation for a party of four. I had requested a table with a view in advance. When we arrived, we were told it would be at least 25 minutes for a window table, or they could seat us immediately at a table "only one spot from the window." They then led us to a booth where three of us had no view, and the fourth had a partially obstructed view. After we were seated, I noticed an open four top directly next to the window in a section that was clearly opened for seating with many staff milling about. The table sat open for approximately 30 minutes until a party of two were seated there. It was not a good look, to say the least, though I didn't find it worth mentioning to the server we had (who was excellent, btw. He and our runner were the best part of our experience). The food was hit and miss, with many dishes lacking in flavor. My wife ordered a watermelon salad as a starter. She found it to be underwhelming, and when asked by the server what she thought, it was disclosed the salad hadn't been popular and would soon be removed from the menu. While well intended, this information would have been helpful prior to ordering. My fish (Ohno) was a thick cut, overcooked on the outside and still partially raw on the inside. When I mentioned this, I was told Ohno is purposely undercooked just slightly and then rests to its final temp. While I recognize the server was doing his best, I know the difference between resting and raw. I ate very little of my meal, and for this I was given $10 off my meal for the inconvenience. We ordered mushrooms as an appetizer. They were delivered to our table after we had already completed our meals. While we were not charged for them, we also didn't want them any longer given we had already finished the rest of our dinner. Had we been asked, we would have declined to still receive them. Not PCG's best night.

    Seated next to the kitchen and we had staff running around all sides of our table. Some manager was running out of the kitchen yelling at her staff right by our table. I ended up distracted by the poor operation of the restaurant instead of focusing on my wife. Having been to PCG many times over the years, can definitely tell it’s a different story than before. Upon paying the bill I could see that it is now owned by Landry’s restaurant group. Explains why I felt like I was at Bubba Gump
