    when we got there they said our table was ready and they walked us to our table and when we got to the table i thought it was a great booth though not at a window still great table. the hostess said oh no this is t right and took us back to the entrance and made us us wait. I had let them know it was our anniversary so I thought maybe they forgot something at the table. when they took us back to the dining room they sat us at another less desirable table right in front of the booth she had originally taken us to. we thought the whole thing was weird and were disappointed but thought maybe they want it for a larger group. however a short time later they sat another group of two people at the table. it made us feel like we were less than the other couple. there had been no reserved sign on it or anything. then our waitress was fine but never checked on us once through the dinner tho we saw her walk by many times. the food was good but nothing spectacular. Overall not impressed with how our dinner went. will go somewhere else next time where we aren’t made to feel inferior

    Travis was our server, and he was FANTASTIC! He had great recommendations and was (as a side note) great photographer

    We have been many times and it is always a lovely time with incredible service. William, our server this time was fantastic. Attentive without being overbearing.

    We had one night in Portland and chose this restaurant-so glad we did! The views from this 30th floor dining room were great, even on a rainy night! We ordered the seafood trio and the New York Strip. The seafood was delicious! The steak was cooked a bit too long, but still delicious. Laurel was our server and she went above and beyond. Honestly, she was one of the best we have had. Professional to the max, attentive, and knowledgeable about gf options. When we told her we’d be hiking the gorge the following day, she even gave us a handwritten list of must sees during our stay.

    Very good service. Drinks quick and well prepared. Food is solidly prepared and ample size but not overly creative.

    My steak had raw portions and had to send back to cook. My guest’ steelhead was wonderful. The mashed potatoes were full of skin. We’re trying to have a romantic dinner but the next table was so close we could hear their conversation. The Portland Grill web site says attire is “business casual “ whereas most diners wore blue jeans and old shirts. Very disappointed. Even one dude was wearing a hat at the dinner table. Obviously Portland Grill doesn’t care or enforce their own rules. We were not impressed. We won’t be back. Very disappointing!

    We didn't realize that window seats are for parties of 4 or less, it wasn't obvious until we were booking a reservation. Overall a great experience, great food and wait staff excellent. The tables in the dining area were a bit crowded, and the music didn't seem to suit a quieter evening, but we still enjoyed our night.

    Jennifer was absolutely amazing and was always there but never intrusive ! Such an amazing experience !!! A night for the books for sure!!!!
