PORTERS is located on the south shore of L.I in Historic Bellport Village. Daily Specials alongside an array of menu options for dine in or take out, day drinking or night capping. Great food and excellent service. The table was a little cramped but overall was fine. Heather was our waitress and was exceptionally wonderful. All the runners and service staff were awesome too. Food was really delicious. Highly recommend Porters for a nice casual dinner atmosphere with yummy food.

We have eaten at Porters on the Lane several times, especially when we have tickets to play at the Gateway. Every time the food has been excellent, the ambience is wonderful and the service is impeccable.

Waitress was a delight. We sat at 4:45 ordered almost right away and didn’t get our food until 6pm. Crab cake was perfection per usual. Everything else seemed overpriced for what it was. I forgot how loud it gets. You can’t hear each other from across the table.

It was very loud and they seated us in the center of a lot of loud obnoxious people. I ordered the filet mignon but it was very tough for a filet. It was ok but not as good as I’ve heard people say it is.

Service was fantastic: friendly but not overbearing, efficient, good timing. Food was just meh for me honestly. Shrimp cocktail was perfectly cooked and tasty, but everything else was just ok for me. I am willing to go back and try again though.

As always everything was fantastic. We called the restaurant because we were going to be late our show ran overtime. We were told no problem our reservation is still good. Yes, the noise level last night was very high, but there was so many large families there that came from the same show, plus it’s a family restaurant noise is expected, and so nice seeing families together for a holiday dinner. My only complaint, and it’s me being old, we sat by a window and the cold air was coming through the windows and wall. Like I said I’m old and very sensitive to the cold, I just put my coat on, had a glass of wine and enjoyed my delicious meal.
