    Fried calamari was very delicious. Mock tail and Chardonnay were good too. Diner enjoyed the salmon, sautéed spinach and potatoes. Crab cake BLT was tasty but a bit dry. Salad was very good. Server, Lexie, was pleasant and efficient.

    Our dining experience was great. Our server was pleasant, and offered options to enhance our dining experience. Our selections were brought to our table in a timely manner. All of the members of our party enjoyed everything. The baked clams we ordered of our appetizer was DELICIOUS! We will definitely come to Porter's on the Lane, when we desire a perfect dinner for any occasion. Thank you very much!

    It was very nice to dine outside on the porch, not as noisy as inside. Service was excellent and portion sizes were generous. Wonderful profiteroles to share for dessert.

    Service although it was not very busy was very very slow sat there for probably 10 minutes before we even got a glass of water let alone a drink. After sometime a bread basket came out we decided to order everything all at once because who knows how long it would take and it was a good thing we did .

    What a gem in my opinion. First time here, read a lot of great reviews and love trying new places. We were able to sit outside on their spacious pourch, they also have sidewalk seating. It felt like I was on a vacation, cozy. Our waitress was perfect!!! We had the oysters which were very fresh, the wedge salad was delicious more on an appetizer size than a meal, the steak tidbits were amazing... get extra bread for dipping, and the chicken Cordon bleu, truffle mashed potatoes, and fresh green beans. The chicken was flavorful just a little dry, the potatoes were excellent. The only thing that could of been better was the food was cold. The prices were great. Definitely going back with the family!! Thanks!

    We went for dinner at this restaurant before a show at a local theater. The hostesses were very friendly & sat us right away. Took a few minutes for our server to come but I believe she was the only server in the room with several tables so that’s to be expected. We placed our drink orders & they were delivered quickly. Ordered dinners, we were then given a bread basket. The bread was delicious & came with a seasoned butter. Dinners came out fairly quickly & were hot and nice sized portions. Food was delicious. Overall we had a really nice experience & would go back. It was on the pricey side but so is everything nowadays. Only down side for me was the noise level, it was a bit loud in the dining room but not unbearable. I’d love to sit on the porch next time & enjoy outdoor dining. Definitely recommend Porters on the Lane
