    Met my 2 best friends for dinner. We celebrated our birthdays. The food was delicious and our waiter Nick was fantastic. The soup is always amazing and we all had the fish special which did not disappoint! Will look forward to coming back soon!

    Everything thing at this restaurant is on point.Service is excellent.Very nice ambiance.Food is outstanding.A small glitch on one of the food orders.For some reason the Lobster tail in a dish containing other ingredients including the claws was too chewy to enjoy.We mentioned it too our waitress and she said we could order something else.We declined because we had already eaten the other ingredients.The other selections we ordered where delicious.When we received our bill both orders (there were 4 of us)of the lobster dish were deleted.We all decided to increase our tips to show our gratitude.Will absolutely return and recommend anyone seeking a great dining experience.

    It is one of our favorite restaurants, but this time we were accompanied by my daughter and our nine-year-old grandson. The food, as always, was wonderful. But what was nice was that the children’s menu had lots of choices, including apple juice. Perfect!

    Great food, great service. we had a shrimp appetizer and delicious pecan encrusted halibut that were both flavorful and cooked just right. The bread is not the best for a fine restaurant so a small disappoint on that, but the service here is always great.

    The food is outstanding. Presentation of the food was picture perfect. Specials are an added bonus. Our server was knowledgable, polite and extremely attentive. It is also nice being greeted by the owner upon check-in. I highly recommend dining at the Poached Pear. 🍐 Tammy B

    Brought our friends for the first time and they absolutely loved everything! Halibut was amazing as was the lamb shank...service was great...one of our favorite places!

    This was our first time at The Poached Pear and it was wonderful! The food was delicious, our waitress was outstanding, we loved it and can’t wait to go back!
