Pizzeria Libretto is a lively Toronto neighbourhood restaurant offering Real Neapolitan Pizza certified by the VPN.
Atmosphere? Bright, busy, fun, loud and homey. Everyone is welcome: singles & couples, young and old, families, and those going on their very first date. No dress code—come as you are, or however you want to be.
Libretto aims to be loyal to what real pizza is, invented in Naples using local natural ingredients, cooked in a wood fired oven at extremely high heat to achieve a charred, blistered crust. We use San Marzano tomatoes and Fior di Latte Mozzarella, brought in fresh daily. Our dough is made with naturally leavened Italian Caputo doppio zero flour. Our pizza bakes in less than 90 seconds in our 900 degree wood burning oven, hand built for us by 3rd generation pizza oven maker, Stefano Ferrara in Naples. Simple, Honest, and Natural.

    Our server Stefan and the rest of the staff were very pleasant to deal with, extremely knowledgable and total professionals. Food was spectacular along with ambience. Overall a must visit if in the downtown core and you like properly made world class pizza!

    We visit this restaurant every time we are in the area. The food was outstanding, as always. The service was excellent. All of the staff were kind and attentive. As someone who has worked in the industry I have to commend Libretto on the quality of their service as they have done an excellent job of finding amazing employees. It really makes a difference when you get great service. Thank you.

    Went at 5:45pm with 2 kids. Service was friendly and prompt…and bonus points for taking the kids orders right away and bringing their food out first! Steak add-on to the salad could have been a bit more generous. Calamari looked amazing but just ok flavoured. Pizza was amazing (as expected), and Orichette with rapini and sausage was also amazing! Sicilian daydream cocktail was outstanding! I’m still dreaming about it!

    Great pizza both Neapolitan and New York Style. The dipping sauces are house-made and add a nice touch. A great place to dine with friends.
