Pizzeria Libretto is a lively Toronto neighbourhood restaurant offering Real Neapolitan Pizza certified by the VPN.
Atmosphere? Bright, busy, fun, loud and homey. Everyone is welcome: singles & couples, young and old, families, and those going on their very first date. No dress code—come as you are, or however you want to be.
Libretto aims to be loyal to what real pizza is, invented in Naples using local natural ingredients, cooked in a wood fired oven at extremely high heat to achieve a charred, blistered crust. We use San Marzano tomatoes and Fior di Latte Mozzarella, brought in fresh daily. Our dough is made with naturally leavened Italian Caputo doppio zero flour. Our pizza bakes in less than 90 seconds in our 900 degree wood burning oven, hand built for us by 3rd generation pizza oven maker, Stefano Ferraro, in Naples. Simple, Honest, and Natural.

Set menus are mandatory for parties of 15 or more guests; a family style set menu and reception style menu have been created by our Executive Chef Rocco Agostino and we would love to work with you to customize them to exceed your needs.

    Fun friendly service, great pizza and the pesto gnocchi is very good! Rapini, focaccia and olives to start and to end some choco sorbetto, can’t miss for atmosphere and quality.

    We got the the restaurant and were immediately greeted and seated. Server was very polite and had a great deal of product knowledge. We ordered drinks and an app to share which came quickly. We both ordered pizza and it came promptly as well. Both were exactly as ordered and very hot. Overall, would highly recommend. Reservations are highly advisable as the dining room fills quickly.

    The pizza was very good. The calamari was interesting, different then what you would expect from an Italian restaurant, but worth a try if you’re feeling adventurous.

    Umm…. Like only the best pizza in Toronto! Prosciutto arugula was my fav!

    Menu is a bit limited but the food is tasty. Service is ok to good. Staffed by young people. Beware of eating from 5 to 730pm. They'll be a lot of kids in the restaurant and it'll be excruciatingly noisy. The acoustics are bad. Overall. Average. Not Libretto's best location.
