This was our seventh or eighth visit and the food remains superb and the service outstanding. Regarding the latter, our waiter, Matt, was very attuned to our needs. The scenery is breathtaking.

We had the pleasure of visiting the Restaurant on our most recent trip to Jackson Hole. Tisha, the general manager of the restaurant was great and made sure we had a fantastic table. The views are just what you would expect halfway up the mountain. Spectacular !!! The ride up the gondola really makes it super fun and if you’ve not been there before, it is absolutely a place you should visit. The food quality was high, and excellent. The service was very good as well. Definitely a win-win !

The views from up there are beautiful. The food was the best we had while visiting the area without a doubt. We had the cheese and salami board for appetizer. It had pickled vegetables, cheese, crackers, jam and salami. Two people had the halibut with beet risotto which they raved about. One had the mushroom dish which they loved and I had the salad with the roasted plums and the tomatillo soup. Both excellent. Service is amazing.

We ordered 2 entrees. The bison filet and the New York strip. The coffee rub on the bison was very tasty and the bison was very tender. It was served with a blue cheese apple dumpling which I loved. I’m a blue cheese fan! The fried Brussels sprouts were to my liking. The strip was not as tender but still tasty. The chimichurri and mashed potatoes were quite good. We would definitely dine here again. Views from the mountain top were wonderful and gondola ride free with dinner reservations. If you don’t want to be dedicated to dinner do the night gondola and 2 for 1 drinks at the Piste Market.

We had an early reservation. And a 2 1/2 yr old grandchild with us. The server was prompt and kept the meal ( including chocolate fondue dessert to under 90 minutes. Food was very good all around, salads, appetizers, and between us - parents and grandparents, we had four different entrees. Everyone enjoyed each of them. Prices were no different than what is the going rate in Jackson, WY. Expensive, but not over the top. Ambiance inside was OK, but with the huge glass doors open to the valley, the view is hard to beat.

Two of the party had to return their dinners (Alaskan Halibut) because they were both bone dry. We returned our meals and were asked if we wanted the chef to prepare the same meal again and we declined. I then requested the steak on the menu cooked "black & blue". The Chef refused to cook a steak that way (odd, since I had one cooked that way the previous week). So, the 2 of us skipped dinner and ate the free dessert. Also, the drink service was horrific. For both our drink orders, we had to wait 15 minutes before they were brought to the table. This was also true the previous week. We won't be bringing our out-of-town guests back again. I was mortified.

Food is very high quality but the portions are very small. This restaurant charges premium prices for the location and amazing views. The service, however is abysmal. The server was nowhere to be found for nearly an hour after ordering food. Some items never arrived. They did however show up on the check even after we told the server we never got the items. Annoying! If you want the views, pay the $15 for the Gondola but eat somewhere else in the village.
