Le Pint Shop propose un cuisine britannique simple, principalement au barbecue. Son bar sert 16 bières pression artisanales, 45 sortes de gins ainsi que du vin de petits producteurs européens. Il dispose de 2 salles à manger et concocte les plats de 3 façons différentes : rôtis, grillés au barbecue et braisés. Le restaurant est ouvert du lundi au vendredi, du midi à 19h00. Son menu de 2 plats est au prix de 10 £ et vous dégusterez celui de 3 plats pour 13 £. Le dimanche, le Pint Shop assure toute la journée un service continu.

We were seated and given menus and when we had chosen the server then told us what was not available. I wasn’t a fan of open salt on the table that customers had to dip fingers in. Despite that, the food that was available was very good.

Good selection of beers. Food is ok but a bit underwhelming. We had the bean and ribollitta soup which was a bit bland. The toasted bread underneath was over charred as was the skin on the coley. There was very little truffle detectable in the sauce. Reasonable prices but other places do better food if that us your main concern. The staff were helpful.

Compared to previous visits the food was disappointing, overpriced and the service was miserable. We had fish and chips and received oven chips from the freezer. The fish was greasy.

Sunday roast is absolutely delicious and great value for money. We got 2 courses for £30. Staff were so attentive and friendly. Really nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend and I will definitely be back.

Good food and table service accompanied a nice range of cask and keg beers. A great place to take friends and family. This is one of The gems of Cambridge city and I’m glad I found it !!
