Welcome to Pino's Contemporary Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar!
Pino's is a small neighborhood eatery tucked away in Pittsburgh's popular East End neighborhood of Point Breeze. You will often find regulars from the neighborhood and new guests enjoying dinner and drinks. With a warm decor of Italian mosaic tabletops, rich woods and colors, Pino's is a welcoming spot where Executive Chef & Owner Joseph "Pino" Mico proves there's more to Italian cuisine than just red sauce. My husband and I visited for the first time it's a suggestion and with our daughter and her family to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The entire experience was highly successful. The menu is varied and impressive. The food was delicious from the appetizers to the main course. The cocktail choices were very good to include nonalcoholic ones. I absolutely loved cioppino and this was the best I've ever, to include a dish I had in San Francisco. My husband, enjoyed the Bronzino stuffed with risotto. My son-in-law brought a birthday cake which they served very elegantly. Can't wait to go back. The only regret I have is that they could not accompany a table of five and they're outside patio, but they did see us near the open front part of the restaurant

The service was great, and the food was amazing. My husband and I love to share so we can try more things. So, we started with the truffled burrata, with the fresh bread and it was incredible with the smooth cheese and tomato basil combination. Next up, we had the Cesar salad. The crisp lettuce and tangy dressing balanced out the dish perfectly with two long croutons finishing off this beautiful green plate. We then had the sausage arrabbiata with the orecchiette pasta which had the best chew - they make their own pasta in house, as confirmed with the chef and his wife, who were lovely to talk to as well- and the sauce had a very nice bite, but not too spicy so don't be afraid of the heat. Finally, we had to try the spinach and mushroom Florentine pizza. It was incredible! The cheese to mushroom/spinach ratio was perfect. Each bite was so flavorful. But, as you can imagine, we were very full at this point, so we'll be eating this for leftovers today. I wish we would have saved room for dessert. But, we'll be back, so next time we will!

It's was my Husband's Birthday and he really enjoyed his dinner and so did I. Perfect night for the Patio dining. Staff and Chef were amazing! Thank you!

Wonderful dining experience on the patio - I try a different wine every time and am never disappointed! Pasta was so fresh - thank you for your excellence! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Our faculty colleague group of 4 people from Pitt, met at Pino's for a Happy Hour to jumpstart the new year and to discuss business. The bar at Pino's with Rachel our barista presiding was favoloso! We ate our way through the updated antipasti of menu including Chef Pino's (Joe) flavorful take on sardines, the succulent and lightly seasoned and breaded carciofi, the porchetta, and the funghi. All was heavenly and the right match for Jen's well-chosen bianci and rossi vini. We will make this our regular aperitivi posto at Pino's Piazza!!. STEFANO

This was our 2nd time here. We took a day to travel throughout the county and enjoy various pizzas from different establishments, making this our last stop in our journey. The food was delicious, the staff is amazing. We are very proud to dine in and support an establishment like this. We will be doing it again, soon. We each ordered Caesar Salads to start... a great choice. Then, I ordered the Shrimp Scampi pizza (chef's kiss). We topped it off with a slice of the Lemon Ricotta Cheesecake (very good). Thank you to the chefs and the staff for making us feel welcome.

Our experience was a good one and will return. The food and drinks were a bit pricey but we said what the heck and gave our order to the waitress. Glad we did.
