We love coming to the Pine Lodge Steakhouse! We brought a group of our friends and Pine Lodge was very accommodating! Great food and cocktails!

My family of eight went there last night for a birthday dinner. The service, especially the waitress was friendly and helpful. She brought our beverages almost immediately and accurately. She forgot that we ordered an extra bottle of wine and did not bring it, which is on her as there is a 20% tip on groups over six. The food, especially the prime rib, was horrible. It was overcooked and very fatty; I ordered the medium cut, which I believe is 16 ounces, and I got a very thin piece of meat that was overcooked. Management took 10% off of it. I got the benefit of three dollars off of a $38 entrée; they advertised that they have fresh lump crab meat crabcakes made with jumbo crab meat without filler. I don't believe it was jumbo crab meat and highly seasoned. The space is very nice. I wish the food would be up to par and a value proposition. When you think about steak houses, you think about experiences with national chains like Ruth Chris and Mortons. This was more like Applebee's or maybe the Texas Roadhouse, but they charge national chain prices. I know this is a recreation area, and many families are looking for that type of experience. We were looking for an exceptional experience because it was a birthday

Brant was absolutely an amazing server! My husband went for our first time (our first time to Deep Creek). We decided here because I love Steak and I can say it was absolutely amazing food and atmosphere!

We were in the area and decided to celebrate our 50th anniversary with dinner at the Lodge. We've been there many years before and loved it - atmosphere, food, service. This time things were a bit different. Items on the website menu were not on the physical menu. Drink, martini, had to be redone, too much vermouth the first time. Second time it was perfect, and the Peach Bourbon drink was delightful. We had a wonderful server, Lacey; unfortunately, the kitchen sent our entire order at the same time - appetizer, soup, salad and main dish - that was a bummer. Lacey took the main dish back to be redone when we were ready. The calamari was delicious. We were disappointed with our experience. Even though it was noted in our reservation that we were celebrating our 50th no mention of that was made during our visit.

This was our 2nd attempt after a somewhat disastrous visit in the off season several years ago. Our entrees were ok, but nothing special. The service was friendly, although somewhat inattentive (there was a large party at another table that seemed to be the focus). Frankly, there are better choices in the Deep Creek area.

Wonderful food! Been going to Deep Creek for many many years and first time here. Steaks were perfectly cooked and appetizers were excellent. Really enjoyed the French onion with portobello mushrooms instead of bread! Will definitely make this a staple date night each year for vacation.

Prime rib was not edible. Cowboy ribeye was a very poor grade. Loaded potato was old. Broccoli Was tuff. Service was good. Salad was good but came out after our entree was serviced
