Located in the heart of Islamorada at mile marker 81.6, Pierre's Restaurant is set amidst a glorious, palm-lined beach overlooking blue waters, with walking paths through tropical flowers and a thatched forest. The two-story exterior resembles the old colonial style residences found in West Africa, but its interior reflects different cultures from around the world. Pierre's offers fine dining on the second floor. Guests may enjoy meals indoors, or on the balcony-accompanied by Islamorada's spectacular sunsets and tropical views. The Green Flash Lounge serves guests on the main floor and the downstairs veranda. Outdoor seating is first come, first served and not available to be reserved.

Unfortunetly my review will not be favorable to Pierres however it will be honest and true. We were greeted kindly, however eventhough we (2 couples were celebrating our anniversaries 39 years & 16 years)it was not acknowledged, eventhough it was clearly stated on my Opentable special request. We also asked to be seated on the outdoor veranda and that was not even offered,mind you the restaurant was empty? I will say that the server was nice and caring ! So I also noticed a musty odor in the dining room, I recommend a comprehensive cleaning. The server offered some recommendations, I was surprised that there really were no French inspired dishes, I had seen maybe an older menu,and that was the reason I selected them.I would say that the menu was not very exciting .The ladies ordered the lobster,they inquired about an additional lobster tail, however did not order it. I ordered the ribeye,the other gentlemen ordered the grouper. So they brought bread to the table,with butter,The bread was below standards, it was some type of puffy, tasteless bread, and to add cold hard butter,I requested olive oil, since the butter was not speadable. Wines were overpriced and limited with selection, ribeye was served with a whole bunch of sauce on top? they brought an extra lobster tail eventhough it was not ordered (and charged for it) the grouper was mediocre at best. salad was fancy but tasteless. frankly the food did not meet any expectations of what was advertised.they did not even acknowledge our anniversaries, then came dessert,they were out of the chocolate lava cake ? we selected the creme brulee, not good at all. simply put , this place is overpriced, the food is not up to par,I must add probably one of the worst fine dining establishments I have ever experienced.Maybe in years past they were great,however they really dropped the ball. when you pay nearly $600for 2 couples.I recommend the Square Grouper its the real deal, Pierres needs help!!

Just "regular" restaurant food like chain restaurant, not good or sophisticated enough for upscale expensive restaurant, only the view is great, not worth the money.

Everything was wonderful until we got our bill. We had a special bottle of wine for our anniversary and ask before being seated if it was OK to bring in. They advised no problem and we did expect a corking fee but no one mentioned it. Normally it could be as much as 25.00 but much to our surprise they billed us 55.00 . We felt that was very excessive to open a bottle with out telling us in the beginning...very disappointing after having such A lovely time.

Food, ambiance and service excellencent! House made drinks not so much. Next time I will stick with wine. Otherwise amazing experience!

Omg the tasting menu was to die for . Our waiter was knowledgeable and explained all the different dishes. Loved the food and loved the service . We will be back soon !

We enjoyed a lovely dinner. We shared the tuna tartar and it was good but not as chilled as we would have hoped. Next we ate the ribeye with bordelaise sauce which was delicious and perfectly cooked. The wine list priced bottles 3.5-4x retail which I consider excessive and there were very few options below the $200 price point. All in all a great but very expensive dinner with a fabulous sunset view!

Over all it was very dissatisfied, from the moment the new bread was brought it was downhill from there. The previos breads were so damn good these had no taste. The main dish was scallops that were good but only 3 with a little pasta on the side so I walked away hungry. This was a far cry from my previous visits that were 5 STARS all the way. The noise level was more than annoying and the place was very warm to the point we couldn’t wait to leave. It will be a while before I try this again.
