Food and ambience was great but service was very poor. The hostess took us to the lovely patio but placed us to an uneven table, requested to be transferred to another table since there were plenty of open ones but was told that they have to ask the manager? Waited for 5 minutes before we asked a passing waiter that were moving to the the next one! Ordered coffee but had to ask several times before being served a cup. The only saving grace in this experience was the spaghetti Neri n the Ravioli which hubby n son enjoyed. Unfortunately my truffle pizza didn’t live up to my expectation.

This was the third consecutive year we spent our anniversary with you all. We went to Italy for our honeymoon and just feel like we’re back there every time we’ve visited you. We are planning on spending every single anniverary with you for as long as the good lord keeps us alive. And keeps you in business! Thanks for another beautiful summer evening in Chicago celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary!

Confusion on the wine list got us two bottles of wine considerably more expensive than we intended but other than that a very pleasant meal

The food was amazing. The noise was unbearable. We left after appetizers. Impossible to speak with the person directly next to you or even the waiter. So sad because otherwise a lovely restaurant.

It was our anniversary so we wanted to enjoy their patio. The food and service were the stars - everything was beyond amazing and made it such a special night for us, thank you!!

I lived in Chicago for many years and used to frequent Piccolo Sogno restaurant however recently during a visit to Chicago, I had lunch at the restaurant. While the atmosphere and the service was excellent the food was not good at all. I had the BRanzino and it was overcooked and tasteless. This restaurant used to prepare Branzino excellently. All I can say is that time brings about a change and unfortunately, in this case it was not for the better.

I cannot say good enough things about Piccolo Sogno. Ciro and the chefs know how to have a one of a kind experience. The best service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Piccolo is one of those places that everything and I mean everything enhances the meal. From the food, the people, and atmosphere. It’s upscale but down to earth. Pristine without being snooty. My favorite restaurant in all of Chicago.
