Sarah was our server and she was excellent! We loved her recommendations for wine - the risotto was so delicious with fresh corn and prosciutto- we loved everything!

Well the service was wonderful and the patio is beautiful and quiet. We were disappointed in the halibut and salmon. Both were dry and rather bland. The asparagus was overcooked. The three of us enjoyed the salads but unfortunately our mains were very dry. I think we will not be going back and it’s a pity because the dining room and patio are beautiful but the focus should be on the food and I think the restaurant is busy mostly because of ambience rather than quality of the food.

My favorite patio! I had a great meal: arugula salad with peaches and a delicious branzino. Attentive service from Sarah. Next time we will have our favorite pastas.

The food was absolutely incredible. The ambience on the outdoor patio was beautiful and not loud and provided a perfect atmosphere for our dinner. The ravioli and the wild board papardelle were our two favorites and the truffle corn risotto special should definitely be added to the menu full time because it was delicious!

This is our 3rd time to Piccolo and we brought a couple with us who had never been. We loved it as always and they thought it was great too. They said it was the nicest ambiance of any restaurant they’ve been to in Chicago.

Wonderful place. Always a favorite. Note that early Sunday dinner attracts a lot of families with kids, so if you don’t want to hear screaming children, reserve later on Sunday.
