A Sicilian by way of Chicago, from a family of Sicilian chefs and restaurateurs. He made a name for himself, serving Orange County for 30 years. Piccolino serves some of the best Italian inspirations in Orange County. Piccolino retains its Sicilian philosophy and passion for food by combining traditional old-world flavors and contemporary infusions. When Salvatore Faso opened Piccolino Ristorante in 2007, his goal was simple: to combine his lifelong experiences in the finest Italian restaurants with the finest ingredients, authenticity, preparation, and his passion for the Canyon and its surrounding communities. Piccolino Ristorante serves regional Italian cuisine, including artisan-made pasta, fresh wild-caught fish, and the finest meats and poultry on the market daily. Vintage décor, white tablecloths, and candlelit tables provide a romantic dining experience.

Service was 6 stars! Every bite of food was outstanding. Burrata Campana was fresh and delicious. Beef Carpaccio was divine. I had the polenta appetizer as my entree and it was more than enough and so yummy. My man had the pre fixe Restaurant Week selection of Caesar salad, lobster ravioli and cannoli - each course was superb! His son had the mushroom and sausage pasta and I think he literally groaned in pleasure with every bite. Every thing was perfect!

We absolutely love this gem of a restaurant. The food and service is excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant. Great date night restaurant!

No wait with our reservation. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Service was great and the food!!! Delicious. Whenever I am in the area, I will make this my go to

I live and work in Colorado but we have an office in CA that I visit regularly. Every time I visit our CA office, I dine at Piccolino at least once and have been for probably 7-8 years. Piccolino never disappoints. You can always count on Sal, the owner, being there. He runs a tight ship and it shows.

Sal the owner is wonderful. He makes makes sure everything is enjoyable. He even helps the wait staff with serving. Such a Class Act, you don’t see anymore. The food is amazing as always. Had the dover sole and osso bucco. Magnifico!

All was tremendous. From the greeting at the door, table assistants and servers. The food was great and the drinks were spot on. The atmosphere was very nice and all in the restaurant, seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Our server was very in top of our table. My partner loved them. As she didn’t push when they didn’t want the birthday complimentary pastry.
