Gluten free is hard to find. This place does it well with correct handling of food and cross contamination prevention.

If you are GF this is the place to go! 10 mins from Hershey Park. GF food comes out literally with labels. Staff is very knowledgeable! Great tasting

This little restaurant is pretty deceiving but please give it a shot if you are looking for italian away from the hubbub of downtown and all things hershey. When we were dropped off- I was surprised we were at a gas station- and I'm not going to lie- I was skeptical. But then we entered the doors of Piazza Sorrento & you forget what was just outside. You are welcomed by host staff who behind them is a nice full U shaped bar. The hostess explained to us there are two sides of the restaurant- the pizza side and the more quite restaurant side. You can't get pizza on the restaurant side so just know before you go (though the hostess explained this when we got there and was super sweet about it). The singular knock we had on the food was the marinara was a little salty. The saltyness pushed the boundary of questioning whether- is this how they make it or was this a mistake and was double salted? Ill say this... even provided this- nextime we visit Hershey we will likely go back. We really enjoyed our meal and the service especially. The prices were really reasonable too.

We had not been to Piazza Sorrento in several years (since before COVID) and wanted to try it again. The ambience was very good with fairly soft background music making it very easy to talk. The waitress was OK, but not particularly friendly. We ordered the bruschetta which was very good and they served bread in a basket which was excellent (tasted like it was just baked). I ordered the Veal Parmesan, which had been my favorite in the past, but was disappointed, as the veal was a bit overcooked and not as tender as in the past. My wife's Pizza Margherita was fine. Unfortunately, the chocolate dessert (which was fantastic in years past) was no longer offered and the chocolate cake was just average. The price was a little high for this type of dinner, but we would go there again.

We made a reservation for dinner on a Thursday evening. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, though we did not mention that. Our server Kristin was superb! Kind, friendly, and just the right amount of attentive. It wasn't too busy and there were a couple of families there in addition to the other guests, but the kids were well-behaved and the noise level was moderate. We started with their Fried Calamari. By "spicy marinara" they mean that they put chili flakes on their marinara sauce, so you can ask for it without. We will do that next time, as neither of us wanted them. We just pushed them to the side of the dish. We each also ordered a glass of the Chianti (Dorati). It was DELICIOUS, so we will definitely get it again. My husband got the Grilled North Atlantic Salmon & Spinach Risotto and I got the Linguini & Clams with the white wine sauce. Both were delicious and we would order them again, though we want to try other dishes too since this was our first time eating here. All of their pasta is made in-house and you can tell it's fresh. I'm sensitive to onion and garlic and there was a lot (in my opinion) garnishing the top of my pasta so I spent a few minutes picking them off. I asked Kristin if it can be ordered without and she said it can be customized to my liking. Since we were celebrating, we also went for dessert. My husband had Creme Brûlée (not a regular dessert item) and I had the Gluten Free Strawberry Shortcake. I'm not GF but I often want the GF option because it's often a lighter choice. The Creme Brûlée was served in a regular ramekin so it had less of the Brûlée than when it's served in the traditional dish, but it hit the spot anyway. My cake was delicious, and served with a generous portion of whipped cream. (So often there's just a little dollop and not enough for your whole dessert - this was just right!)
