Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great cheeseburger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s a bistro-meets-diner-meets-internationally-inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto. Our service team is upbeat and genuine but also deeply knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees. La vue est incroyable ainsi que le service et la nourriture. Le prix des plats est selon l’emplacement donc … ça va mais les prix des vins / boissons exagérées !

C’est un bon restaurant où j’ai beaucoup profité du dîner avec mon ami le 17 mars. Une chose qu’il faut améliorer, c’est que les serveuses nous dérangeaient trop beaucoup pendant le dîner. Elles nous ont demandé comment on pensait à la nourriture et qu’on avait des besoins. Pour moi, c’était plus qu’il était nécessaire. Ma conversation avec mon ami a été continuellement perturbé.
