Pho Norwich is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant with loads of vegan and gluten free options. We specialise in pho, the Vietnamese noodle soup, and also serve delicious curries, rice dishes, wok-fried noodles and healthy salads, too. We also have loads of starters that are perfect for sharing with friends and family. The Belgian Monk opened in December 2000. The main objective was to create something different yet to fit in with the way drinking and dining is changing. It has become a successful and established bar and restaurant, offering customers a choice of a regular selection of some 45 beers together with a selection of special beers. The menu is based on serving only the best products available freshly prepared daily, at realistic prices, in an informal relaxed "friends and family" atmosphere. It provides more than just the meal or drink but a whole Belgian experience. Lunch for two booked and we were directed our table - a nice choice of table. . After being seated for only a few seconds there was a table for four, to our left who were extremely noisy (one lady in particular with a very loud, continuous, raucous laugh) so before our order was taken I enquired whether we could move table, and we moved to a quieter area and we had a wonderful experience, as always, with excellent friendly service. All dealt with quietly and calmly and hopefully the table for four continued to enjoy their time at Cote.
