A new, growing-led “British Tapas” restaurant from the teams behind Chef's Table and Growing @Field 28. The menu features an inventive and daily-changing selection of vegetarian, vegan, meat, fish and game plates, each dish is crafted from Field 28's daily harvest of pesticide and biocide-free heritage produce and specialist leaf, served alongside a selection of hand-crafted cordials, cocktails and wines.     Had the valentines menu and couldn’t fault anything.We both had different choices but it was all so tasty couldn’t fault it at all.I can’t usually manage 3 courses but I wasn’t leaving any.Highly recommended

    Well cooked food, good, friendly service. Comfortable "old-fashioned" pub. Chose to eat in the bar this time, but there is also a very nice dining room. Menu is "pub" food rather than fine dining. Lunch menu a bit limited and only a small number of lighter options available.

    My daughter and I went to the Griffin Inn for Boxing Day Lunch. We had been to several 'Festive Lunch' events in December so both opted for the Steak & Chips option. The steak was brilliant and cooked to perfection, as were the rest of the meal. The atmosphere was inviting and quieter than we expected, though it was livelier in the Bar where the football was on TV. The staff were attentive and we had a lovely time. We will definitely return.

    Christmas dinner was lovely After being seated we were quickly served our starters Vegetarian alternative was beautiful Hosts were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble Great value for money Will be booking next christmas and recommending to others
