We founded The Bay Tree out of a deep love for real food, for food that is fresh and honest . We also felt that Kinver needed a place for people to meet each other, relax and enjoy a meal.We only use the best ingredients here at The Bay Tree: wherever possible we use local produce, organic vegetables, fresh fish, and free-range meats. We strive to make each and every dish a wholesome expression of our love for food, life, and living. The Bay Tree was born in March 2020. Our goal is to make the Bay Tree blossom into a thriving village community. We offer a restaurant and bar, with quality, homely food to suit all appetites and budgets. Sympathetically designed, with room for families, groups and parties of all sizes, we want any customer to feel like they can call The Bay Tree their extended home. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays we adopt a 'order at the bar' service for all restaurant seatings unless pre booked party's of 10 or more. Please ask at the bar for more details on arrivalLocated on the ground floor directly off main reception Faradays offers a lunch menu from midday, and ala carte dinner menu alongside a selection of daily specials served each evening from 5.30pm to 9.15pm, which enables our of brigade of Chefs the opportunity to showcase their talents. The bar opens at midday and serves until 11pm after which time guests will be required to show proof of residency to obtain service. Bar closing time is at the discretion of the hotel management team each night. The patio overlooking the Waterfront provides panoramic views of the canal basin and should the weather turn inclement then you can still enjoy the outdoors in one of our new dining pods.

    My wife and I celebrated my birthday with a wonderful evening at Simpsons. The food was exceptional, and the service was both attentive and friendly. A big thank you to the team, with a special shoutout to Freddie!

    Great food and service. Quick service from friendly staff. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. e had Chicken Liver Pate and Lamb Koftas to start and then a Spicy Chicken Burger with fries & Fish & Chips. Didn't have any room for dessert.

    Excellent service. Very personable service from receptionist and from restaurant Nafiza who was efficient and friendly. Food was superb, fresh and cooked beautifully. The restaurant and bar and other facilities are superb. However the reason for 3 stars for ambience is the restaurant lighting was too bright and there should be some background music. The conversation of others was very audible. Low level music does help mask conversations and more so forces people to talk quieter. The lighting didn’t help as it was on full brightness level so it’s wasn't relaxed and other guests thought they were at home and were talking very loud. I hope this can be remedied as this is very minor suggestion but will transform the restaurant. We will definitely be coming back.
