Following the success of his first restaurant in Vauxhall, chef and founder Ajay Chaurasia has opened a second site in Wimbledon, bringing his own personal take on Indian cuisine to South-west London. On offer is a range of lesser-known regional dishes along with plenty of tried-and-tested favourites so there’s something for everyone at this bright and cheerful restaurant. Chaurasia’s aim is to bring together flavours from all over the Indian continent, Sharing appetizers includes the likes of king prawns (Tiltala Jhinga) and sticky tamarind wings with avocado chat - a contemporary spin on the classic street food snack. Tandoor highlights include Murgh Hariyali Tikka, which is grilled chicken breast marinated with fresh green spices and yoghurt, as well as vegan options, too. Stunning every time! Food is incredible and the service is excellent. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The food is delicious and they cater for vegans easily with so many dishes being able to be made vegan if you just ask My unrivalled favourite Indian restaurant ever!

Excellent food. I had the chicken malai tikka - so soft and juicy, came with fresh salad and an apple chutney that tied it up in a pretty sweet bow; and the slow cooked lamb raan? Absolutely no words do this justice; it’s off the bone soft, and the flavors on this thingggg I’m a big fan of excellent service, and they did not disappoint. Wonderful servers that always checked in and did not mind patiently answering all your questions.
