Nestled into the corner of Spitalfields, we have recently re-branded as a small plates bar, cafe & restaurant, serving up wonderful seasonal plates made with the freshest ingredients, cakes & pastries. All alongside an extensive range of British & Belgian beer, self-imported French wine, Andronica's marvellous coffee & tasty cocktails. Our bar is the product of over 20 years’ work by couple Kay and Peter Sinden, who have now passed on the daily running of the place to their own children. A daily set lunch allows for the perfect environment for a quick lunch meeting & to impress your clients. Rooms are also available for private hire. Please enquire for details. The Coffee Room grew from a small Italian coffee shop by the same name. The aim then is the same as now: to create a warm and welcoming space where different people can come together from their local community to enjoy fantastic food and drink for a reasonable price. To our loyal clientele, we are a local meeting place, a good neighbour, a welcoming friend, a treat for your loved ones and a mainstay of the community. We offer the customer a cosy, relaxed and intimate dining experience with a friendly, welcoming service.This venue boasts a secret garden surrounded by brick walls and soft lighting with a waterproof awning and heating for the wetter, colder months. This can be retracted in warmer weather to provide an enchanting outdoor garden area.
